Background
Our client plans to launch new business focusing on “lives”. This mobile lifelog app is supposed to be a very import part of the whole plan. For this challenge, our client is looking for your help in designing a competitive and attractive mobile app.

We are looking for the [topcoder] design Community to help us with planning our new "user experience" (UX).

Concept of the app:
“Usual days become great memories”.

This app is for lifelogging mainly focusing on photos and supposed to have the following features:
- Timeline where user can post photos, locations and texts.
- Display photos in the camera-roll on the timeline.
- Automatic photo layouts and filters (photo effects).
- Automatic logging locations.
- Slideshows.
- Calendar.

Please check the following apps. They have similar concepts:
- Hey Day
- Moment Diary
- Day One
Please note that we wouldn’t like to share a user’s timeline to other users. This app should be completely personal.
- Please do not copy anything from the referenced sites.

Design Focus:
We will be asking you to come up with the design which is:
- Intuitive and easy to use.
- Attractive for the target audience.
We also will be asking you to suggest:
- Nice features that make lifelogging easy and fun.

Design Guidelines:
We are looking for simple, elegance and pretty design concepts. The following web sites and app are introduced by our client to let us know their thought about tone and manner.
- Simple and Elegance:
- Pretty - combination of simple design and vivid colors
-- http://cameran.in/

Font and Language:
- Please note that some of the information may include Japanese characters
- “Hiragino” font is recommended but fonts meet following conditions are also available
-- Free
-- Including Japanese characters

Target devices:
- Design screens for iPhone 6 portrait display (1334-by-750-pixel resolution at 326 ppi).
- We plan to support iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 plus so please come up with a responsive solution that fits smaller and bigger screens.
- Assume this is a native iOS application.

Features:
1) Automatic photo layouts and filters:
- Please check HeyDay. It has the similar feature.

2) Slideshows generation:
- A slideshow for a user is generated automatically every month. The slideshow includes photos, texts and locations submitted in the month. The slideshow is submitted to the user’s timeline when user launches the app for the first time in the next month.
- The slideshows should be played automatically when user sees it on the timeline.

3) Notification:
- User can receive notifications to remind herself to write and post a text.
- Please design a push up notification here; push notification is when the user is out of the app like this

4) Seals:
- User can use 3 kinds of seals for free and buy premium seals.
- The photos are filtered based on the seal.
- Example:
-- She had something sad on a day.
-- She put a ‘sad’ seal on the day of the calendar.
-- The photos on that day are filtered with black and white to indicate sadness.
- The three free seals should indicate fun, sad and love. We would like to have 10 more premium seals that user can buy.

Suggested Screens:
- We would like you to suggest features/screens that this app should incorporate
1) Timeline:
- The main screen of this app.
- User can post/remove/edit photos, locations and texts.
- The timeline is not shared with other users.
- The app suggests a topic when user try to submit a text like “What were you impressed with today?”.
- The app is supposed to have about 10 different topics to suggest

2) Calendar:
- User can see the calendar of a month.
- User can put a seal (an icon) on a day:
-- You could see Moment Diary and Livre to know how it looks like.
-- The photos on that day are filtered based on the character of the seal.  Please see the Seals section. Even if there are only some texts on that day, we would like to see the seal next to the texts

3) Connecting to external services:
- User can connect this app to the external services below:
-- Instagram.
-- Facebook.
-- Twitter.
-- We plan to connect one more app; Please assume 4 services to connect.
- Her posts on external services will be pulled into the timeline.

4) Slideshows:
- Please see Slideshows section.
- This screen shows the list of monthly slideshows.

5) Passcode lock:
- User can set a secret passcode. Once a passcode is set, user needs to input the passcode when user launch or resume the app.

6) Settings:
- A general settings screen.
- This is a design concept challenge and the client is looking for your suggestions on what can be shown here to users.
