Welcome to Nutra Blend Logo Design Challenge!
We need your creative skills to come up with a bold new logo for our company. Being in the agriculture industry for years, we need to renew our outdated logo to something more exciting and modern, conveying our service philosophy which you can read more in the challenge description. The primary goal of this challenge is to design a new logo for Nutra Blend. This logo must convey a mix of convention and innovation. We rely our services in partnership, strength, integrity and ingenuity and would like to see our logo convey that as well.
Nutra Blend is a company that distributes micro-nutrients for animal feeds. See more information in the website, http://nutrablend.net/nutraBlendHome.aspx.
Branding Guidelines
- Colors are open to designers. In spite we recently redesigned the website, we’d like to rethink the tones and colors we used and update the website properly. Colors we like: blues, greens, grays and reds.
- Fonts are open to designers. Be creative the way you use them and make sure to properly declare them in the submission upload process to avoid screening failure.
Concepts Goals
We envision a powerful logo. It’s VERY IMPORTANT to us that the word “Blend” is taken literally as an expression in the representation of the logo/imagery. Meaning that we’d like to see somehow the logo being blended with the word “Blend”.
It’s an interesting challenge to incorporate this concept. Consider as well a smooth color palette applied to the logo and the imagery you come up with, it should be very appealing. Imagery should lean towards agriculture.
What we don’t want to see is sci-fi / science types of logo, neither script type logos.

Requirements
1) Nutra Blend Logo
- Create a vector logo on CMYK color mode.
- Show the logo on a white and black background.
- Design an unique logo that reads “Nutra Blend” or "NB". Any of those will do. If you want, you can propose the two options.
- Make sure to consider an appropriate imagery and concepts stated above.
2) Nutra Blend With Taglines
- Create two versions of the logo to incorporate the following taglines:
-- Providing Confidence
-- Driving to Feed
3) Branding Information
- Provide the color palette of your logo plus font specs.
4) Purpose/meaning Note
- Please provide us a graphic note with the meaning/purpose that will help us understanding your logo.
Target User
Feed manufacturers overall. Agriculture advocacy is a key point here, we want to convey that we are a steadfast leader in agriculture and a sense of security to our customers.
Judging Criteria
- Completeness: does your logo meet the requirements as stated within the challenge?
- Quality: does your logo look fresh, professional, and clean? Is the composition/layout well done? Have you used typography in a meaningful way?
- Concept: does your logo present a new and interesting concept? Is it simple, yet memorable?
Submission File
All requested contest requirements/screens zipped as JPG or PNG files at 72dpi.
Source Files
Zip all original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Illustrator and saved as layered AI or EPS files.
Your source files must meet these requirements:
1) The AI/EPS logo file with text intact (not outlined).
2) The AI/EPS logo file with text in outline format.
Preview Image
Create a 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode and place a screenshot from your submission within it.
Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. As well as fonts replacement.
