Challenge Overview
Blue Harmony is IBM's major transformation program which is meant to simplify the design and operation of three Globally Integrated Support Processes - Finance, Opportunity to Order, and Order to Cash. A key component of this initiative is the Blue Harmony corporate ESB, which is the primary integration between the SAP systems and IBMs existing portfolio applications. Over time, there will be over two thousand applications integrated with Blue Harmony. One component of the corporate ESB is the Administration Reporting Management System (ARMS) tool. This is a GUI application that is used for event logging, message reprocessing, error correction and reporting. The primary users of the ARMS tool span all different responsibilities: system administrators, testers, business process leads and developers. Because of the large number of applications that are to be integrated within Blue Harmony, there will be a large number of different transactions formats that must be supported. These message formats can be xml, flat file, fixed record length files, spreadsheet, data objects, etc.
The requirement is for a similar GUI driven application to be developed which will allow a user to view these messages in a parsed view, i.e. display certain fields and their data, regardless of the format of the message.
This competition will take the provided wireframe submission and will apply the IBM look and feel to it, based on the standards documentation provided.
