Challenge Overview
Vesta has functionality on the website where a user can request a consultation with a salesperson. The current source code can be found in the forum. The new application will redefine the front-end and backend pieces to use Smart GWT as the UI library (http://code.google.com/p/smartgwt/
).
To see the showroom consultation piece, go here: http://www.ferguson.com/homeowner.shtml# and click "Request a consultation today" or "Schedule a consultation today".
Note that the LGPL version of the Smart GWT library must be used.
The pages in the showroom consultation popup will be refactored to use Smart GWT on the front-end, and the backend will be updated to expose the necessary functionality for the front end. The end result will work exactly the same as what is currently seen.
