Challenge Summary
Now that we have this fantastic new look for TopCoder Studio, it is time to show it off to all the future members of Studio.
For this contest, we want you to design two (2) graphics that promote our Member Referral Program. One image will be a promo on the Studio home page and the other will be a bigger and more exciting version on the Member Referral page.
The goal is to grab the user's interest and get them to click all the way through to TopCoder Studio registration. This is your chance to increase our membership and profit as well. Show us what you can do!
For this contest, you will be designing two (2) images - the home page promo and the information page graphic. Both images must work well together and show strong continuity. 1. Home Page Promo: This is the image that needs to completely grab the users attention. It needs to make them want to click through and learn more about the Member Referral program. Promo Requirements - It must stand out to grab the users attention, but still work well with the rest of the site's overall look and feel. - The promo must be 224 pixels wide. The height is up to you. - You must use the following text on the promo. You are free to create variations of this text as well.Headline: "When your friends win, you win!" Secondary Text: "Learn more about the Studio Member Referral Program" - Add a strong call to action. This can be emphasized text, a button, graphic or anything else that you wish. The user needs to know that they can click on the promo to learn more about the referral program. - Place your graphic in the placeholder area of the provided home page template (HomePage_template.jpg). You may move the promos below the placeholder down if your promo is taller than the space provided. 2. Information Page Graphic Since the information page is currently all text, this image will give the page some life and keep the user's excitement about the program. Make the image exciting and thrilling so members will want to refer others. Preview Image Use a screenshot of the home page template with your promo design as the preview image. Do not alter, skew or add shadow or other filters for dramatic effect.
