Challenge Summary

The Hermes Ubergame is a points based scoring system that will rate users across all of the different areas of the Hermes web site. Users will earn points through a mixture of skill based and non-skill based activities. Users will be able to measure themselves against their peers, and eventually win prizes or earn material goods based on point accumulation. The system must be easily accessible so that all applications on the Hermes web site may award points to users with minimal coding changes, thus encouraging adoption from other portions of the site. Administrators will be provided with a web interface that allows them to register applications with the Ubergame and set limits on available points awarded by day, month, year, or lifetime to a particular user on any given application. Users will be provided with a small community site that allows them to view their total number of points, and to query their point breakdown by application and timeframe. Users will also be able to compare their results and ranking against other users or groups of users based on those users’ properties, application, application category, and group membership. The Ubergame will integrate with the existing Hermes user management system for authentication and profile information. The purpose of this contest is to create a set of wireframes to illustrate all aspects of the business process laid out by the Business Requirements documents. This contest will be run in the Studio Tournament format. Please read the contest specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this contest. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.
Studio Tournament Format This competition will be run as a two-round tournament with a total prize purse of $1500. Round One (1) At the end of Round One, Hermes will choose up to three (3) review winners; each will win $100 and a Wireframe Review. These winners and any member who had a passing submission in Round One will be eligible to compete in Round 2 for the additional $1200 in prizes. Round Two (2) Round 2 will start with the announcement of up to three (3) $100 Round 1 winners and the posting of their design reviews in the contest forum.
We are now in Round 2 Congratulations Round 1 Winners on your $100 Prizes: 20970 - foxyhu 20929 - picachui 20993 - selvia_ettine Overall Feedback - Though it was not specified in the original requirements, one nice feature would be the ability to promote a tag to provide a breakdown of the overall leaderboard so, for example, if the admin promoted the "Fantasy" and "Arcade" tags, the leaderboard would have headings "Contestant | Fantasy | Arcade | Other | Overall," where "Fantasy" and "Arcade" columns had the users' Uber points from those two tags, the "Other" column had the remaining fantasy points, and "Overall" was the sum of the three. - The customer prefers top-level navigation be in tabs at the top of the screen. Some useful tabs on the community site would be "Leaderboard", "My Entry", "Compare Users", etc. - The community site is supposed to be interactive and fun, but many of these submissions are nearly devoid of graphics or placeholders for graphics. Some useful graphical elements would be charts for comparing different sets of data (my performance vs. my peers, where my points come from, etc), small badge graphics for top level rankings instead of just words, user profile pics for the top 5 participants, etc.

The resulting files are not critical in this contest. The most important point is that all the content is listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow. Pages must be linked together as a clickable resource. Judging Criteria Your submission will be judged on the following criteria: - How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow - How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client)
