Challenge Summary

This is the Second Phase/ continuation of the MaryKay Social Networking Idea Concept Contest. Congratulations to the 6 Round 1 winners. We are extremely impressed with these very well thought out ideas. In this second phase we would like to expand on the concepts with a visual representation. Create a storyboard for any or all of the different Round 1 concepts. If you need to describe the flow, feel free to add a diagram of the flow or sequences to aid in describing your submission. Round 1 has provided us with 6 very different ideas. We are extremely excited to take the next steps on all 6 of them. We see them as 6 unique ideas. Please keep your submissions to the core concept of each idea. If you have additional ideas of how to improve or extend the idea. Feel free to add that information in your submission. It will be the business leaders of MaryKay that will be reviewing your submissions. As always, please ask questions, we have the subject matter experts at MaryKay standing by to help advise and provide feedback on your submissions. Submit early and get their invaluable feedback.
Round 1 Winners: - 20343 - glisten - 20350 - iamtong - 20364 - AleaActaEst - 20341 - dhbellol - 20342 - ashpedgaonkar - 20352 - roney_hendrix For submission 20343: We like the viral aspect of the quiz. We'd like to pursue a strategy where the information of the closest Mary Kay representative (from the network of friends perspective) is displayed to people who complete the quiz. i.e. (the six degrees of separation between you and an MK rep in your FaceBook contact list). For submission 20350: We specifically like the idea of a Skin Makeover that shows progress over time. Something that would encourage people to post updated photos, comments, etc. We'd like to expound on that idea and think about viral and incentive aspects to make it successful. For submission 20364 We'd like more detail behind the Twitter strategy - follow that path. For submission 20341 We like both the ideas for the Independent Beauty Consultant and the Consumer. A virtual store front (that extends an IBC's Personal website) and the sharable Virtual Makeover (based on the existing Virtual Makeover tool) are things we've definitely discussed internally. Tell us how it should work. For submissions 20342 & 20352 We really like the big picture ideas that were presented. Flush out some more of the details and let's see where it goes.
