Tournament Format This Studio competition will be run as a two-round tournament with a total prize purse of $1800. Round 1 At the end of Round 1, Athena will choose three (3) Round 1 winners; each will win $50 and a Design Review. These winners, and any member who had a passing submission in round one, will be eligible to compete in Round 2 for the additional $1650 in prizes. Round 2 Round 2 will start with the announcement of the three (3) $50 Round 1 winners and their review from Athena.

Contest Details For this contest you will be using the Requirements Specification for your information. This document contains screenshots of the current application. You are expected to evaluate the information presented and rethink the user flow and experience to improve on what is currently in existence. This first contest will set the tone and layout for the entire application. This Wireframe contest consists of deliverables of three parts of the PMC application: Welcome, Copy and Style Group. Welcome You will wireframe the Welcome section of the PMC application. This will include rethinking the navigation and overall flow of the application. Refer to the following sections of the Requirements Specification: 2.1 Welcome Screen 2.2 Copy This includes all subcategories (2.1.1, 2.1.2, etc. You are required to show as many screens as necessary to cover all of the functions and screens described within these sections. These wireframes will also require you to decide the overall layout of the application, including the navigation. Copy You will wireframe the Copy section of the PMC application. This will include rethinking the overall flow of the section within the application. Refer to the following sections of the Requirements Specification: 2.2 Copy This includes all subcategories (2.2.1, 2.2.2, etc). You are required to show as many screens as necessary to cover all of the functions and screens described within these sections. Style Group You will wireframe the Style Group section of the PMC application. This will include rethinking the overall flow of the section within the application. Refer to the following sections of the Requirements Specification: 2.10 Style Group References This includes all subcategories (2.10.1, 2.10.1.2, etc). You are required to show as many screens as necessary to cover all of the functions and screens described within these sections. Note: There are several instances in this Requirements Document that refer to exporting the data to Excel. For the purposes of this contest, you need only have a method for exporting the data, and do not need to show how it will display in Excel. Target User This application is used by employees of Athena who have to update the product data on a regular basis. Your wireframes should help sort this complex data in an easy, logical, user-friendly interface for these employees. Wireframe Considerations The most important aspect of this application is providing a very logical and ordered user experience. The user should not have to think about how to find information. They should be focused on the products displayed and how to easily access the information they need. The resulting files are not critical in this contest. The most important point is that all the content is listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow. Pages must be linked together as a clickable resource Judging Criteria Your submission will be judged on the following criteria: - How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow - How accurately and intuitively the data is represented - How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend. Contest Deliverables Round One First draft all wireframes for client feedback. This first draft must be complete enough for the client to fully evaluate the entire page flow for each section. Incomplete wireframes will not be eligible for any Round One prizes. Round Two Final completed Wireframes The client may add additional requirements based on Round 1 results and decisions made between now and the start of Round 2. You must submit all requested deliverables to be considered for prizes - you may submit more if necessary to explain your eCommerce solution. Submission & Source Files Preview Image Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it. You are free to resize or crop your submission to fit this size, but do not add any filters or elements for dramatic effect, such as drop shadows or reflections.
