Challenge Here is your opportunity to help Best Buy customers find accessories for their digital SLR cameras. These high-end cameras have several types of add-ons that can be purchased from lenses to extra memory to carrying cases. Best Buy wants to help their customers navigate all of the different choices they are presented with and provide the best user experience. Based on the Mobile Phone Accessories storyboards provided, as well as the specific direction given, Best Buy would like you to design the look and feel (storyboards) of this user experience. Requirements Follow the Best Buy Design Guide Modifications to the Storyboards Take the provided Mobile Phone Accessories files and adjust them as follows: Overall - Rebrand to DSLR Accessories: Remove all phone-related text/images with appropriate DSLR text/images. - Change header on all pages to read: Digital SLR Camera Accessories Options - Some examples of accessories are memory, lenses, filters, cleaners, hoods, batteries, cases, flashes, battery grips Select Brand/Select Model/Confirm Pages - Include a block of copy underneath the header describing that you are about to enter an area to find accessories for your camera - It must be clear visually that you must first select a brand before you select a model. - Once a brand is selected, the model choices become available both in the pull down and the carousel. The user can also change the brand at this time - In the model area show options that include the same model in different configurations. For example one choice could be a single lens, another could be the same lens with other items grouped together Display Pages (01_general.png, 02-displayfilter.png, 03_results.png, details.png), Compare and Details - Replace "Search Results" with the category name - Categories list should read: Memory Lenses Filters Cleaners Hoods Batteries Cases Flashes Battery Grips - Add some method of Browse breadcrumbs to allow the users to navigate easily into other areas - Add "Rating" as a "Sort Results By" option - Remove "Shopping Cart" area from the left column Modificationd to Look and Feel/Layout The look, feel and layout should be left as much as possible while making these edits. Things you should know These factors are most considered by customers browsing for DSLR accessories: - Cost - Convenience - Brand availability - Getting the product quickly - It's a company I trust - Ease to compare products and price - Physical location in the store - Customers look for their accessories by brand Target User - Best Buy Customers - Reach new customers that are not necessarily Best Buy customers yet.
