Challenge Summary

This competition is to upgrade existing wireframes. It involves the addition of three new pages, and revisions to existing pages. It is a one round non-tournament format. Contest Summary Aphaea provides agricultural energy audits to farmers across the country in order to identify for them the energy and money savings they could have if they invested in energy efficient equipment. This is done by the way of collecting data of the current standards and equipment which is then analyzed and fed into a comparative report which provides the possible savings information. The client currently generates those audits using Excel spreadsheets for the calculations and then puts the results from the calculations into a MS Word narrative document. Such a process is quite cumbersome, slow, and error prone. It is also repetitive but doesn't take advantage of possible computer based automation or more efficient data gathering techniques through a distributed interface provided through the web. There are two goals to the proposed application: 1. Turn this manual process of generating energy audits into a web-based system 2. Provide a system, which is flexible enough to accommodate changes to existing templates or event new templates and new report types without the need to delve into low level programming details. A set of wireframes to illustrate all aspects of the business process laid out by the Business Requirements documents has been created in a previous wireframe tournament. This contest will update that set of wireframes to include changes detailed in the next section. Please read the contest specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this contest. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums. This is a one round contest with a total prize purse of $600. The tasks that must be performed in this contest are detailed below: Create Audit List Page Please add a button/link to a NEW PAGE at the top of the Admin Main Page (i.e. between ?Client Accounts? and ?Report Templates?). The purpose of this page is to view a sortable table which lists the Audits for ALL clients. This page will look identical to the Client?s Manager Main Menu (Audit List Table: 4/4.6/9/11), except for the following: 1) There will be three additional columns in the table, one showing Client Name, one showing User Name, and one showing User Status 2) An additional icon to the right of the 5 existing icons (add it to the right of the Print Report icon), ); this additional button will be for the Admin to Unlock Data Input Forms (in cases where the Client requests a re-submission) 3) An additional icon to the right of Unlock Data Input Forms for the Admin to Upload Report Data (this will simply be a place for the Admin to upload either a Word document or Excel file for an individual audit in the case of a Unique Audit) 4) An additional icon to the right of Upload Report Data for the Admin to modify the calculations/assumptions used in that particular audit (you have already created this page; it is called ?Energy Savings Calculators?. ; Please note that the Report List table on the Report Templates page is NOT the same as what I have just described, and should in fact be removed from that page Edit Manage Report Templates Page Changes need to be made to the page for 4.26 Manage Report Templates: 1) Remove Report List table 2) Rename the table header ?Report Type & Default Template? to ?Report Template? 3) Under ?Report Name?, the four reports should be named ?Dairy?, ?Poultry?, ?Swine?, and ?Grain Drying? 4) The 3 buttons in the table all go to the same place. One button should be to ?Edit Audit Report Boilerplate Language? (currently implemented), the second should be to ?Edit Data Input Forms?, and the last should be to ?Edit Default Calculations?. 5) Create ?Edit Data Input Forms? page 6) Create ?Edit Default Calculations? page These functions are discussed in 4.4.25, 4.4.26, and 4.4.27 Cannot Navigate to "Edit Help" Pages Pages to Edit Help and Lease Information exist in the wireframes, but they are not linked to from the admin site. There must be a way to get to these pages from the Admin section of the site Add Row Expansion to Manage Reports Page On the ?4.4.6, 4.4.9, 4.4.11 Manage Reports? page, clicking on any row of the audit list table must expand that row to show all of the different file versions that the client has saved in Editing mode. Other functionality of the row expansion includes: -Each row of the current "Manage Reports" table represents an Audit (either in-progress, or complete) -Only rows for Complete Audits will be able to expand to show different Audit Report file versions (because the data input forms for an in-progress audit have not yet been submitted to generate an Audit Report, so there are no audit report file versions to display) -Each "master row" (the Audit row/Farm Name that you click on to expand) should only have ONE of the FIVE current buttons, the "Fill / Print Data For Report" button (which should be renamed "Data Input Forms"). The other four buttons (View Report, Edit Report, Download Report, and Print Report) will appear next to the File Versions once the Client has clicked on a master row of a completed audit to expand it. -In addition to these four buttons next to each file version, there should be one more: Mark As Final Version. Clients need to be able to designate one or more file versions as Final version(s) (there may be multiple final versions for the same report). This was mentioned in section 4.4.10. -Since there will now be multiple audit report versions for the same audit, the "Save & Submit" button on the "Edit Complete Report" page should ask the Client whether they want to Over-write the file version that is being edited, or to save their edited report as a new version. Client Manager (4.4.6/9/11) Data Input Form Clients also need a ?Request Re-Submission? button on the Data Input Form Menu page, which will only be active AFTER they have Generated an energy audit report. This button will pop up a box in which they can send a message to the Admin which states the reason they wish to Re-Submit their Data Input Forms (to re-generate their report). If the Admin chooses to accept this request, they can Unlock the Data Input Forms for the Client to edit and re-submit without charge. See 4.4.10 for more details. In this same table (Data Input Forms), the "Input Form Status" column should be removed, as well as the two "unlocked" icons on the right, since Input Forms for the same audit will all have the same status (either Locked or Unlocked). There should be a status of the input forms somewhere on the page that indicates whether they are Locked or Unlocked for Editing. This is only applicable to Complete Audits, since In-Progress audits already have Unlocked forms (they have not yet been submitted). Checkboxes in Manage Profile In the Client Manager's Manage Profile >> View / Edit Client Auditor(s) page, under View Settings at the bottom, please change the two checkboxes to "View all audits" and "Only view audits belonging to this Client Auditor." Wireframe Resources Wireframes on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_site_wireframe Wireframe software option: www.axure.com Example Wireframe: http://www.gdoss.com/web_info/web-site-wireframe.php Wireframe Requirements Wireframes can should be built in HTML, Axure (listed above), MS Visio or OmniGraffle. The resulting files are not critical in this contest. The most important point is that all the content is listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow. Pages must be linked together as a clickable resource. Judging Criteria Your submission will be judged on the following criteria: - How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow - How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client)

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.
