Primary Goals The goal of this contest is to create a web page skin based on the Latin Pop/Ballads musical genre. This skin will be used to brand various radio station's web sites that play this type of music. Latin Pop/Ballads genre description: A composition of any combination of the following formats: Romantica, Ballads, International Pop Hits and Top 40 Hits. - Romantica and Balada -This is an easy listening format that by nature consists of ballads and romantic, poetic love songs. - International Pop Hits - This format is a melting pot of Latin American, European, and Caribbean music. The appeal of this format comes from its receiving international airplay. - Top 40 Hits - This format features popular groups and performers from all categories with current single hit releases. Target Audience The Univision Radio network covers approximately 73% of the U.S. Hispanic population and has over 10 million listeners weekly. Design Requirements Two (2) mockups must be submitted in .jpg format: one to show the skin design on a 970 pixels width page (main) and the other to show the same skin design on a 770 pixels width page (inside). Skin guidelines included in the provided templates. - Use template provided. It has three main folders: skin guidelines, 970 page and 770 page. Do not alter the HEADER inside the folder. - Major design elements should fit within the 1200x600 pixels safe creative area. Minor design elements can bleed to the non-safe creative areas. - Skin design should fade or transition to a solid color, shown on template. The solid color areas are white area below the safe and non-safe areas as defined in the provided PSD. - Include design style for various page elements: radio navigation, branding area, modules and page color. - The client is looking for a overall look and feel of the modules and not a particular visual design based on the content (video, audio, spotlight, etc.) of the particular module. Please look at the provided site templates for more information. Design Considerations - Use imagery that will effectively brand each radio station. Stay away from images that might be offensive or stereotypical. - The final design should be strong, fresh and innovative. Do not follow popular radio stations where the designs might be considered "tacky". - NOTE: To implement skins on our website these must be below 100 K. You can test optimizing your skins and see how much quality will be lost if we were to choose yours.
