Challenge Summary

Univision, the premier Spanish-language media company in the United States, is looking for a new innovative set of Zodiac horoscope symbol icons. These icons will be used on the Univision website in several locations. In this contest, you will be updating the winning design of the twelve (12) Zodiac horoscope icons created in an earlier contest. The client has provided a small list of changes and is looking to you to complete them professionally and creatively.
Project Overview Univision has chosen the winning horoscope icon designs and would now like the following changes: 1. All Icons - Standardize the eye shape and style 2. Aries - Make the animal in the icon look more like a ram and less like a goat. Remove the goatee (the hair on the animal's chin). 3. Taurus - Adjust the inside part of the nose. The outer shape is fine, but the inside "c" shape should be modified so it does not look as big or out of place. You can do things like reducing the size, changing the angle, line thickness, etc. 4. Gemini - Add the waves in the hair as shown in Leo and Virgo. 5. Virgo - Add the waves in the hair on the left side as it is on the right side of the image. They do not have to be the same thickness or position as the waves on the right side. We just want the hair texture to be consistent. 6. Pisces - Change the position of the fish. They should be facing each other and vertically opposite of each other, like the ying yang symbol. Remove the bubbles. 7. Duplicate Version - Create another version of the icons that is the same but with opposite colors. The icons should be purple and the background should be a light color or white. Design Requirements - The icons MUST be created in vector format. - You are provided the vector source files of the winning design from the first contests. You must update and duplicate this file for your submission. Design Considerations These icons should: - Accurately reflect the particular Zodiac symbol it is representing - Work as a cohesive set with a unified look and feel - Visually blend well with the rest of the Univision.com site. Reference Sites You can learn more about the look and meaning of the twelve (12) Zodiac horoscope symbols at this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zodiac Branding Guidelines - The icon designs must work well with the overall look and feel of the current Univision.com website and follow the provided design files. Contest Deliverables 1. icon-template-white.jpg - Your twelve (12) icons placed in this template at the provided 3 sizes (50x50, 100x100, 200x200).
