Challenge Summary

Quickest project is an online service marketplace that should allow service seekers to post jobs orders, provide work requirements, specify geographic constraints and/or upload photos on a system that automatically notifies qualified service providers to review the job order and offer an estimate. The website should also include forums for posting of relevant questions regarding job orders and similar topics, and mechanisms for rating both users, receiving/subscribing newsletters and special offers. The main objective of this application is to provide service seekers with several bids from qualified service providers as quickly as possible, and help service providers expand their customer base location-wise. The goal of this contest is to produce a simple and user-friendly workflow by clickable Wireframes that illustrate the page layout and page interaction of the site. The specific areas to be addressed are outlined below.

Round 1

In this Round, competitors should finish the overall skeleton. It includes: 1) The first screen of each function areas. 2) The landing page and the 3) site map.

Round 2

Contest Deliverables The deliverables for this contest is the final completed Wireframes of all required areas, detailed above. You may submit more if necessary to explain your solution. After submission, the client and Studio designers should have a clear understanding of what needs to be designed and built.
FULL DESCRIPTION & PROJECT GUIDE Goal For this contest you will be using the Conceptualization Document for your information containing all of the requirements for the application. You are expected to evaluate and define the user flow and experience to accurately present the information. Target Users The target users for this application are service providers and service buyers/seekers. Tasks of this contest: 1. Design wireframes of the Quickest project site that encompass all of the functionality that we are looking for in our application. 2. Be able to show job posting flow (buyers posting a job --> providers bidding for the job --> buyers choosing the winning bid) 3. Be able to show the search results flow according to several parameters (e.g. by specific location, by category, within 5 miles, 10 miles from zip code, etc.) 4. The flow should be very simple and very clean. 5. A comprehensive but user-friendly landing page is required as well as the site map. Considerations for the Landing Page: 1. Link to or List of all the services by location and service category 2. Login and Register section 3. Small placement area for state map enabling search via zip code/cities 4. Search box for easy access to both service buyers and providers 5. Miscellaneous/Help Link Wireframe Considerations For this contest, the wireframe layout should provide a very logical and ordered user experience. The users should not have any difficulty finding information or using the application. Wireframe Resources Wireframes on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_site_wireframe Wireframe software option: http://www.axure.com Example Wireframe: http://www.gdoss.com/web_info/web-site-wireframe.php Wireframe Requirements Wireframes can be built in HTML, Axure, or OmniGraffle. The resulting files are not critical in this contest. Pages must be linked together as a clickable resource. The most important point is that all the content is listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow. Judging Criteria Your submission will be judged on the following criteria: * How well the wireframe is translated into a clickable solution. * How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow. * How accurately and intuitively the data is represented. * How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client).

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.
