Challenge Summary

Education CRM is an admin tool where business users can setup up School data which is utilized by the client sitedegreeTree.comThe existing admin tool is not very intuitive for a business user and requires assistance from the technolgoy department for the school setup process. We are looking to create a new tool that will allow business users to setup schools. This contest is to update/improve the provided wireframes. It is important to ask questions and understand the existing wireframe. Please read the educationcrm_updates.doc carefully and post questions to the forum.

Round 1

At the end of Round 1, the cilent will choose three (3) round 1 winners; each will win $50 and a Design Review. These winners, and any member who had a passing submission in Round 1, will be eligible to compete in Round 2 for the additional $600 in prizes.

Round 2

Round 2 will start with the announcement of the three $50 Round 1 winners and the posting of their design reviews in the contest forum.
The intent of this tool is to come up with an intuitive way for users to Manage School data for our EducationCRM. The current wireframe has begun to aggregate the information into a view desired by the client users. However it has a few shortcomings that we would like fixed. Please review the attached educationcrm_updates.doc and post questions in the forum as needed. Target User Business Users that will be Setting up Account and School Information. Wireframe Considerations The most important aspect of this application is presenting the information in a nice easy to follow way. The user should not have to think about how to find information. The resulting files are not critical in this contest. The most important point is that all the content is listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow. Pages must be linked together as a clickable resource Judging Criteria Your submission will be judged on the following criteria: - How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow - How accurately and intuitively the data is represented. - How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client) Contest Deliverables Round One Submit your wireframe updates for client feedback Round Two Final completed Wireframes The client may add additional requirements based on Round 1 results and decisions made between now and the start of Round 2. You must submit all requested deliverables to be considered for prizes Submission & Source Files Preview Image Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it. You are free to resize or crop your submission to fit this size, but do not add any filters or elements for dramatic effect, such as drop shadows or reflections. Submission File All Requested Contest Submission Requirements stated above. Source Files All original source files of the submitted ideas. If you would like to submit notes please include ia notes.txt file. Final Fixes As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify content or user click paths

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
