Challenge Summary
This is the for the $2500 LendingTreeAutos Storyboards Phase #1 Contest. It is the first phase in a number of contests related to this redesign. We will extend the winning submission of this competition to next phase of this competition, as well as subsequent contests related to this site.
GOALS LendingTreeAutos would like an updated, more user-friendly look for their Auto website. Much of the content on these pages consists of data tables. We are looking for a fresh approach to displaying this information in a way that is visually appealing and presented in a manner that is easy for the user to digest. Think "Mac" vs "PC" and create a modern look that is light, well spaced (good deal of white space) and simple but well designed, for a professional / slick feel to the site. IMPORTANT NOTICE This contest is a REPOST and involves a redesign of these pages. The example images are included simply to provide you with a visual reference to the content required for the pages -You are expected to create a completely unique design for this contest.Only the member who submitted the design used for these examples is allowed to upload a submission which mimics the example design.Submissions which look very much like the example design, that are uploaded by any other member than the original designer, will FAIL screening. Target Audience When a user comes to our site, they may be either a potential customer or a current customer. PREVIEW IMAGE Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it. SUBMISSION ZIP FILE JPG or PNG screens based in RGB color mode at 72dpi. Stock Photography Watermarked comp photography from istockphoto.com is allowed in this contest. You must follow these instructions or your submission will fail screening: 1) You must include a completed Third Party Content worksheet. It belongs with your Submission folder/zip file -- NOT your Source folder/zip file. 2) Only use photos, and only use them from iStockPhoto. Other iStockPhoto artwork is not allowed. 3) Be sure to keep the watermark intact. If the image is cropped in such a way that the watermark is not visible, please be sure to include the entire image in your source files so we can see that it is a comp image from iStockphoto.com. Judging Criteria You will be judged on the following: - Quality of design - How the design met the above requirements and considerations - Innovation, creativity and usability SOURCE ZIP FILE All design source files saved as layered PSD, AI or EPS. Round 1
For round one (1) we would like you to redesign the five (5) pages required for this contest : 1) Home 2) New Car Details (A) 3) New Car Details (B) 4) Used Car Details 5) New Car Search Results At the end of Round 1, the cilent will choose up to five (5) round 1 winners; each will win $75 and a review. These winners, and any member who had a passing submission in Round one (1), will be eligible to compete in Round two (2) for the additional $2000 in prizes.Round 2
For round two (2) you must re-submit the completed five (5) screens to cover the requirements for this contest.
