Round two (2) will start with the announcement of the three (3) $100 Round 1 winners and the posting of their reviews in the contest forum. For this contest we are providing PSD files of the new design for you to follow. You must use the existing header/footer and maintain the colors/size/design of existing elements. You should re-use existing elements wherever it makes sense (form elements, boxes, etc). Page layout: There are currently 3 page layouts in the PSDs : home (100% width), new car (aprox. 170px sidebar) and search results (aprox 270px sidebar). We would like to stick to these 3 layouts and not add any new ones to the site. Boxes: There are currently a number of "box" sizes on the site - please stick to the existing sizes with the exception of a 2/3 box size. [Ex: home page has 3 boxes at 1/3 width - you are free to add a new 2/3 width box to pages with no sidebar. (i.e. it would be one 2/3 width box and one 1/3 width box in a single 100% width row)] Layout/Boxes: If you need an "extra" box to make your layout work, you can create one from any of the existing box content items on the existing site or the psds - but try to make sure they make sense for the page (ie. It would not make sense to have a "get the carfax" box on a new car page, as these are for used cars only). Content: Remove the 3 ad boxes at the bottom of all pages on current site. Otherwise, show all content that is currently on the page unless noted, below. Please ask in the forums if you have any questions on any of this - we're happy to clarify or even answer specific questions as to what sizes/content you could put on a page, during the contest. Download the LTA P2 Contest Details Document for this contest to get the specific notes for each page. Target Audience When a user comes to our site, they may be either a potential customer or a current customer. PREVIEW IMAGE Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024px x 1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it. SUBMISSION ZIP FILE JPG or PNG screens based in RGB color mode at 72dpi. Stock Photography Watermarked comp photography from istockphoto.com is allowed in this contest. You must follow these instructions or your submission will fail screening: 1) You must include a completed Third Party Content worksheet. It belongs with your Submission folder/zip file -- NOT your Source folder/zip file. 2) Only use photos, and only use them from iStockPhoto. Other iStockPhoto artwork is not allowed. 3) Be sure to keep the watermark intact. If the image is cropped in such a way that the watermark is not visible, please be sure to include the entire image in your source files so we can see that it is a comp image from iStockphoto.com. Judging Criteria You will be judged on the following: - Quality of design - How the design met the above requirements and considerations - How well it fits in with the new design (provided PSD Storyboard files) - Innovation, creativity and usability SOURCE ZIP FILE All design source files saved as layered PSD, AI or EPS.
