For Round 2, you are required to show ALL screens designated in the Required Pages area.Overview We are looking for Storyboard designs for a "Market" application on a mobile device. The mock-ups should assume a google phone, such as Android or Nexus One. The "Market" Application is how a User interacts with the Application Repository, and provides the User with access to the Applications that are available. It includes functionality generally similar to the iPhone App Store and Google's Marketplace App. Users can see the Apps that are available and select Apps to view additional information and feedback. Applications can be displayed based on different metadata, e.g., type of App, price (free/not free), etc. The UI features we are looking for are described below. User can select and download/install Applications Each Application will have a place where more information about the Application is available, as well as the user reviews and user/developer discussion. There is a way for the user to select an application, have credits deducted for payment, and install the App. User feedback about the Applications On the discussion channels, users can ask questions, and also report/track bugs and feature requests. Application developers can respond to these requests so that all users and potential users can see the response. New Application requests and discussion The Market Application also will have a place where users can request new Apps/functionality, and where users can review/vote on requests for new functionality. Developers thus will be able to see what Apps are desired by users. Credit deductions (i.e., payment for Apps). A credits/payments screen will manage credits that are allocated to users, as a mechanism to pay for the Apps. The credits may be charged to the appropriate budget, or may be used to otherwise track spending. Design Considerations - Remember your designing for a Android or Nexus One - Clean Application Design - Modern design for the latest technology - Application Icons can be simple placeholders. The apps showcased will be office/enterprise apps - Colors should be military colors - This contest is the exploration stage of this "Market" application. Please research the Android UI but we are mostly concerned with sharp graphics/ideas and creating a great presentation. Logos - Please use placeholders for logos for the Market App OR - Provide a simple generic logo for the Market App - the goal of this contest is not the logo but it will help provide context if there is something other then a placeholder box. Required Pages For this contest you will be designing a minimum of seven (7) phone screens. Show as many screens as you need to show the areas listed below: 1. Home Screen* 2. Browse/Search* 3. Search Results 4. Application Detail* 5. Comments/Feedback/Reviews 6. Credit available/Account* 7. Payment transaction *These screens are required for Round 1, all screens are required for Round 2. Please remember to submit UNIQUE designs - do not simply make minor modifications and resubmit. Target User The target user for this application will be government personnel. Judging Criteria - Concept/Creativity: Does your "Market" application look like an Android application. - Execution: The quality of the graphic design and web elements. - User Experience You must submit all requested deliverables to be considered for prizes - you may submit more if necessary to explain your design. Submission & Source Files Preview Image Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screen-shot of your submission within it. You are free to re-size or crop your submission to fit this size, but do not add any filters or elements for dramatic effect, such as drop shadows or reflections. Submission File All Requested Contest Submission Requirements stated above. Files should be saved as JPG or PNG files in RGB mode at 72dpi. Source Files All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop, Gimp, Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape and saved as layered PSD files, AI or EPS files. Final Fixes As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify fonts (sizes or colors) or modify overall storyboard colors.
