Challenge Summary
The goal of this contest is to wireframe a Data Validation Tool. This Tool/System will enable the validation of US Healthcare Professionals (HCP) details from different source systems. A requirement document thoroughly describes the use cases performed by the Data Validation Tool. Additionally, sample data from the source systems will be provided to competitors to complete a robust wireframe representing the functionality of the application.
NOTE: This contest will be run as a private competition. This means all documentation and forum discussion will be private and only available to members who have completed a CCA specific to this project. The public forum for this contest has more information about the CCA Process and how to get approved to access to the documentation.
Goal The goal of this contest is to create a wireframe for a Data Validation Tool. Based on the requirements provided in the private forum, you will need to wireframe the related use cases for the application. We are looking for you to meet the stated requirements and create a smart solution with the best overall page/click flow and user experience. Requirements The requirements are available for download after registering and submitting a CCA as described above and in the forums. The following documents are available: Data Stewardship Tool_Functional Requirement.pdf- This document describes all functional requirements of the Tool. This file should be reviewed and all requirements related to the interface should be included in your wireframe design. Specifically, the following use cases are required: - Authenticate User - Review Records - Provide Clarification by HCP Match or Validation - Validate Data Against HCPM - Exchange Records with TR HCP Data Clarification Example Data.xls- This document includes several sample rows of sample data from the source system and the corresponding column headers. Column headers are color coded to indicate whether the field is 1) Needed in the UI or needed for the UI specifically for inputs that should be captured 2) Displayed in the UI You should use this document to gain an understanding of the data. This document should also be used to provide sample data in your wireframe to make it more robust. General Layout- There are several screen shots and documents provided around general layout of the application. When creating your wireframes you should use these documents as basic guides for the following: - Main/Top navigation - Common screen elements such as headers (display logged in user), boarders, etc Note that these are only reference applications. It is important to ask questions in the forums about these samples to make sure you meet the client's layout expectations. Contest Deliverables Round One For Round One please complete a first draft of wireframe pages for client feedback. The draft must include how the use cases fit into the general flow of the application and the use cases listed below. This first draft must be complete/coherent enough for the client to fully evaluate the entire Data Validation page flow. Incomplete wireframes will not be eligible for any Round One prizes. The following use cases are required (some names are changed): - Authenticate User - Review Records - Provide Clarification by HCP Match or Validation Round Two In Round Two we will need you to take the client feedback and provide final/complete wireframes. The use cases from round 1 should be finalized. Any additional details/screens contained in the provided documents are required in this round. The following additional use cases are required: - Validate Data Against HCPM - Exchange Records with TR The client may add additional requirements based on Round 1 results and decisions made between now and the start of Round 2. You must submit all requested deliverables to be considered for prizes - you may submit more if necessary to explain your solution. Target Audience End users will be Sales Representatives and Account Executives. These users typically like to complete a task in as few clicks as possible. They are use to seeing data in tabular (excel format). User Interface should be intuitive as these users typically do not like to read instructions. User interface should guide users through the process rather than having them figure out what to do next. Judging Criteria Your submission will be judged on the following criteria: - How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow - How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client) Wireframe Resources - Wireframes on Wikipedia:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_site_wireframe - Wireframe software option:www.axure.com - Example Wireframe: http://www.gdoss.com/web_info/web-site-wireframe.php Submission & Source Files Preview Image Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it. You are free to resize or crop your submission to fit this size, but do not add any filters or elements for dramatic effect, such as drop shadows or reflections. Submission File All Requested Contest Submission Requirements stated above. Source Files All original source files of the submitted ideas. If you would like to submit notes please include a notes.txt file. Final Fixes As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify content or user click paths.
Round 1
At the end of Round 1 the client will choose five (5) Round 1 winners, each will win $50 and a Design Review. These winners and any member who had a passing submission in round one will be eligible to compete in Round 2 for the additional $1,250 in prizes.Round 2
