Hestia B2B is now looking to enhance the "Merchandising" used throughout the Hestia B2B website/application with a series of contests. The goal is the create reusable "templates" that can support different types of products and promotions. The Hestia Marketing team would then be able to select different areas of the template to add new items each day/week/month. Merchandising: merchandising is any practice which contributes to the sale of products to a retail consumer. At a retail level, merchandising refers to the variety of products available for sale and the display of those products in such a way that it stimulates interest and entices customers to make a purchase. Promotional Landing Pages The goal of this contest is to create "Promotional" Landing pages that would be used throughout the Hestia B2B website. The Promotional landing pages could contain items such as: - New Products - Seasonal/Situational Products - Clearance Items - Hot Deals - Tool Flyer Current design items used in web promotional merchandising: - Page Banners - Banner Slideshow with numbers (1,2,3) to click between the slideshow items - Product Spotlights - Brand Spotlights - Please refer to the attached "promotional-wireframe.jpg" (this is an EXAMPLE ONLY) Example User Scenario & click-path - User lands on Hestia B2B - The User is presented with Banners, Product Spotlights, Slideshows dealing with New Products, Seasonal Products, Clearance items, Hot Deals etc. - Show us what this page would look like. - Find and use stock images for your design. - Here are some Categories/items you can pull from Client Site Link Merchandising Template - The purpose of the template is to allow the Client options in displaying content. - Please refer to the "example-template.jpg" - The software the Client will be using for merchandising refers to each content/block as a "Cartridge" - In this example the Client can put content in each Cartridge (labeled A,B,C,D etc) - Since the Client is aware of a set number of Cartridge sizes they can rearrange the page depending on the type of merchandising they need for that week/month. - example 1: Cartridge A could move below B & C and maybe B & C move upward. - example 2: The Client removes everything and just uses multiple A cartridges on the page. - example 3: The Client uses alternating rows of G & H cartridges. Resources & Requirements - We will provide the "New" Hestia B2B header & navigation. - You will need to work within this design to develop your merchandising template - The Client would also like you to provide an additional page of notes detailing your template structure (Cartridge sizes, alternate Cartridge layouts) Site References Here are some other site references Example 1 (Perfect Example) Example 2 Example 3 Pay attention to how they advertise products/brands/sale items.
