Contest Details Hestia B2B is always looking to give their customers a better user experience by updating their application with new designs and usability solutions. Hestia B2B is now looking to update their site "Sign In" page to the NEW look that has been developed over the last few months through Studio contests. One goal of this contest is to create a reusable "template" that can support different types of products and promotions. Merchandising: merchandising is any practice which contributes to the sale of products to a retail consumer. At a retail level, merchandising refers to the variety of products available for sale and the display of those products in such a way that it stimulates interest and entices customers to make a purchase. Note: The software that Hestia B2B uses to manage the different Areas/Modules/Blocks on the page uses the terminology "Cartridges" - we will use this term throughout this specification for the different Areas/Modules/Blocks on the web page. Note: This is not a site redesign! Hestia B2B Sign In Page Requirements The goal of this contest is to take items from the Existing Hestia B2B "Sign In" page and work them into your new "Sign In" page using the New Hestia B2B site design. Required Items: - Refer to the existing (old) "Sign In" page (Reference Link) - Login/Sign In Cartridge - Slideshow Cartridge (This is where they might have their application "demo" content) - 1 Banner Cartridge (Talking about how useful the Hestia B2B application is) - 2-3 Merchandising Cartridges - "Locations Finder" Cartridge (refer to the graphics (Here and Here) - Credit Application Cartridge (This Cartridge would link to a future Online version of this Credit Application) Important Items: - Login! The Use needs to be able to see the login easily and know they can access their orders quickly. - Use the provided Client logo Template Design - The Hestia B2B "Sign In" page will be setup as a template - this allows the Client flexibility in the content and placement of each Cartridge. - Please refer to the "example-template.jpg" - In this example the Client can put content in each Cartridge (labeled A,B,C,D etc) - Since the Client is aware of a set number of Cartridge sizes they can rearrange the page depending on the type of merchandising is necessary for that day/week/month. Resources & Requirements - We will provide the "New" Hestia B2B header & navigation. - You will need to work within this design to develop your new "Sign In" page - The Client would also like you to provide an additional page of notes detailing your template structure (sizes, alternate Cartridge layouts) Site References Here are some other site references Example 1 (How the username/password fields look with merchandising etc.) Example 2 (How the username/password fields look etc.) Target User - Users of the Hestia B2B Application - Assume Users know how to use the Application but are not necessarily web savvy. Judging Criteria - How well you create the "Sign In" Page and template - Cleanliness of your graphics and design - User Experience Reference Files - Use the provided color palette - Use the provided header and navigation design - Review the provided wireframe Round 1 Submissions: Use Round 1 of this contest to ask the Client questions and try out your design solution with the Client. Stock Photography Watermarked comp photography from istockphoto.com is allowed in this contest.
