Challenge Summary
Recently, Alcatel-Lucent ran an iPad App Challenge to create a number of iPad Application which utilize the Alcatel-Lucent Location Based Services (LBS) APIs in innovative ways. Radar is one of the winning applications that came from this challenge. Discover who's around you in an immersive game like experience. Friends and enemies appear as dots moving around in a radar scope complete with toggle switches, rotating bezel to zoom and scanning overlays.
Now, Alcatel-Lucent is running a series of competitions to update these applications with additional features. This competition is to create a storyboard detailing the look and feel of these updates so that they can be implemented in future development competitions.
Round 1
At the end of Round 1, we will choose three (3) Round 1 winners, each will win $100 and a Design Review. These winners and any member who had a passing submission in round one will be eligible to compete in Round 2 for the additional $900 in prizes.
Round 2
Round 2 will start with the announcement of the Five (3) $100 Round 1 winners and their design review.
