Challenge Summary

TopCoder and Alcatel-Lucent will soon be launching the 100 Apps in a 100 Days Contest! The 100 Apps in 100 Days is just that; building a hundred apps in 100 days. But before we do that, we need a creative logo and banner design from you.
The 100 Apps in 100 Days Contest is all about building fresh, new applications. So we're looking for a cool logo to accompany this contest as well as two different sized banners. Part one of the contest: Create a logo for the 100 Apps in a 100 Days contest to appear on the website: - You can use the text however you want in the design. But the text must include some derivation of: 100 Apps in 100 Days - Please focus the design of the logo on numbers and mathematics using math symbols and other technology aspects. - Please use the Alcatel-Lucent primary color, black, white, and one other complimentary color if desired:C=70M=85Y=0K=0 - Also note that this logo may be printed on a t-shirt at some point so keep that in mind when designing. Concept, composition and simplicity will be taken into serious consideration in the selection process. Most great logos share some characteristics; they are clean, simple and easy to remember. We want the same for this logo. The winning logo will be used on the website, in the banner, and potentially on apparel. Part two of the contest: Create a banner for promotion using the logo and colors you just designed for part one. - Take the logo you have designed and create an exciting banner in the following sizes: 125x125: this banner to appear on this page: http://www.readwriteweb.com/iphone/ 510x100: this banner to appear on this page: http://www.topcoder.com/tc - The text on the banner should be: 100 Apps in 100 Days Learn More - The logo in the banner may be sized however you see fit in your designs as long as you maintain the correct aspect ratio. - Remember, your banner needs to stand out. If you choose to use white as a background color, please make sure to add a border to your banner. Target Audience The target audience is TopCoder members, Studio members, potential members, and clients.
