Challenge Summary
DoneRight! is getting a new look for their website, courtesy of our community! The client has decided on the new look / feel, based on the winners of the previous design contest. Your task is to complete several of the storyboards, in the style of the provided storyboard / PSD.
Round 1
At the end of Round 1, the Client will choose three (3) Round 1 winners, each will win $50 as Round 1 Milestone Winners. These winners and any member who had a passing submission in round one will be eligible to compete in Round 2 for the additional $2550 in prizes.
Round 2
Round 2 will start with the announcement of the three (3) $50 Round 1 winners and their design review from the Client.
SEARCH BOX
The home page has been completed (see screenshot & PSD) except for the Search Box (currently a B&W placeholder). The search box is an important part of the design, as the client wants it to be the primary focus on the page. As they were not impressed with any of the search boxes in the previous submissions, they are looking to you to create an exceptional one!
REQUIRED PAGES
Your task is to create the following pages of the provided wireframe, based on the completed design. Note that you are to follow the provided design - all elements that you include in your designs should look as though they are a native part of the provided design (see restrictions, below). You must include the following nine (9) pages in your final submission:
1) Home Page (note: you are ONLY designing the search box here! Do not alter any other part of the design)
2) Search Result _ 2
3) Search Result - No Match Found
4) Search Result - Acme Service Provider
5) The Guarantee
6) Register Page
7) Register Page - Validation Error (Click on Register Page and select "errors" from submit options)
8) FAQ (show first Q/A expanded - leave all others collapsed)
9) Press Room (show all expanded)
DESIGN RESTRICTIONS
BUTTONS
Missing is the primary button design. One idea was for the button to be similar in design to the curent section header bars, only maroon color-based with very light gray text - but you are free to design this as you wish, so long as the button merges well with the existing elements. YOU MUST use Windows Standard fonts for button text, as this will need to be editable in the prototype.
COLORS
You must follow the exiting color scheme in your design. You are NOT free to add new colors to the design. Note that the following rules have already been established:
- MAROON is primary link color (logo, main menu links, article header links and underlined subtext) but are also gray (underlined) in section header bars and gray (no underline) in the footer.
- ORANGE is the primary static icon color (non-link) and also used to draw attention to secondary items (bullet points)
- GREEN is another static color (non-link) used more sparingly to draw attention to secondary items
- OTHER elements, such as Header / Main / Footer / Subfooter background colors, as well as section header bars, have already been defined and should not be changed.
FONTS
You must use only Windows Standard fonts in your design.
STOCKART
Do NOT introduce new stockart into the designs. Where you have need to show a thumbnail (video placeholder, for example) create it by copying / altering an exisitng image in the provided PSD.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD files. You must include the provided PSD - unaltered except for the addition of your search box.
Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify content and/or colors.
If your PSD file contains "junk" layers, is not well organized or presents in a manner that makes the file less than useful to the client as an editable source file (layers have been merged incorrectly, are not grouped/labeled correctly, etc) you will be asked to repair the file in the final fix phase.
