Challenge Summary

The new DARPA-CS Stem website will be updating the wireframe of its profiles pages. For more information about the project, please visit http://topcoder.com/home/darpacs/
Primary Goal: For this contest your task is to update the profiles page of the existing wireframe to: - assume a public profile can hold status of up to 15 activities - show how achievements and standings within each activity can be displayed - allow profile to show "membership" in any groups Achievements and Standings: Every activity allows a user to gather "achievements" for reaching certain milestones. Each activity is allowed to define its own achievements, but some common examples will be succesful completion of a level or puzzle, a difficulty level, a high score, etc. Some activities will report standings. A user will be able to see the handle and score (which can be points or time to complete) of other users. Some activities will show both standings and achievements. Others will show only achievements. We are particularly interested in designs that show clever ways of organizing the way activity results are displayed. Some users will have participated in only one or two activities - others will participate in all 15. We are not sure what the approach should be (thus this contest) but we are sure that we should not display 2 filled spots and 13 empty ones for a user with stats for only two activities. At least, that should not be the default view. Attached is the existing wireframe for your reference. Target Audience: This website is intended for 13-18 year old demographic, with an aim of boosting computer science education and help middle and high school students strengthen their science, technology, engineering, and math skills before they enter college and the workforce. Judging Criteria: Your submission will be judged on the following criteria: - Your design is should not prevent the screen from using the full width of the monitor when wide screens are used. - How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow - How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client) Submission Files: Wireframes should be built in HTML. The resulting files are not critical in this contest. The most important point is that all the content is listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.
