LendingTree needs their auto insurance form screens redesigned, based on the existing storyboards. You have been provided with screens detailing the content that you will need to design.
Your final deliverable will be five (5) layered PSDs. Note that you MUST include all the proper layers for existing elements (header/footer/etc) as well as your new content - these layers can be found in the provided PSDs.
IMPORTANT: Understand that there are VERY FEW NEW ELEMENTS that you will be designing (see details, below) - 80% of this contest involves taking existing PSD layers / elements and creating new PSDs that matches the new rough layout screens provided (see Auto Screens.zip). Which means 80% of what you will be judged on for this contest will be how well your PSD files are created.
You will be judged on:
- How well you created the new / unique elements (see details, below)
- All content indicated in the Auto Screens is present in the PSDs
- All layers are: named logically and grouped logically
- All layers are easily editable (which means that layers are not merged that may need to be edited / text is not rasterized / etc)
You are expected to maintain the styling of the original PSDs as much as possible (existing form elements / buttons styles / font styles / etc). Fonts should be windows standard fonts (Arial, Tahoma, etc). You are free to change the fonts in the provided PSDs, so long as you maintain the overall styles (size / colors / etc) of the existing design.
EXISTING DESIGN ELEMENTS / REUSE:
For all screens, the following elements can be taken from the existing PSDs / will stay the same:
- Header
- Main backgrounds (left / main column and sidebar)
- "Why Use InsuranceTree" module
- Footer
NEW DESIGN ELEMENTS / CREATE:
For the first 4 (1.png, 2.png, 3.png, 4.png) screens, you will be expected to create the following new elements:
- steps module (located at the top of the left / main column). note that this should indicate the active step for the user, but should NOT appear to be buttons/links (user must use submit buttons and sidebar links to navigate back/forth in the form)
- status module (located in the sidebar, under "Why Use InsuranceTree" module). note that the "your vehicles" and "your drivers" sections here should be designed (not just plain text - like the rough example screen) - you are free to create icons if you wish, but it is not required for this. also note that "edit" and "add" text here are text links.
- content in left / main column (see Specific Screen Notes, below)
Specific Create Screen Notes (see Auto Screens.zip)
SCREEN 1
beyond the new elements listed above, you are specifically required to design a unique elements / icon for the "$ discount!" element indicated on this screen
SCREENs 2 & 3
beyond the new elements listed above, you are specifically required to design a unique icon for the calendar icon indicated on this screen
SCREEN 5
you are specifically required to design unique elements/icons for the "1/2/3" elements indicated on this screen.
notes:
- this screen does NOT have a sidebar
- "answer financial" and "insurance agent" logos can be found in the existing PSDs zip (LT logo can be taken directly from one of the PSDs)
- "show live quotes" is the primary element on this page (button)
- the "area for 3rd party content should just be blank (white background).

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of the first screen of your submission within it.
Submission File
Five (5) storyboard screens, saved in PNG or JPG in RGB color mode at 72dpi

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify content and/or colors.
If your PSD file contains "junk" layers, is not well organized or presents in a manner that makes the file less than useful to the client as an editable source file (layers have been merged incorrectly, are not grouped/labeled correctly, etc) you will be asked to repair the file in the final fix phase.
