Challenge Summary

Welcome to the Hestia B2B Merchandising "HVAC and Mechanical" Storyboard Design Contest. The goal of this contest is to UPDATE the provided Hestia B2B Merchandising and create a few additional web screens based on the provided wireframes and requirements listed below. Hestia is always looking to give their customers a better user experience by providing new and up-to-date features in their B2B Web Application. Over the last few months the Studio Community has helped Hestia create a new user interface for the B2B Application. The new site is being tested and we are now working on future changes and updates. For this contest we need you to design and create the merchandising areas listed in the provided wireframe. We have provided copy and images to use in the referenced areas. You can modify/design the provided images to work with your merchandising design.

Round 1

At the end of Round 1, the Client will choose five (5) Round 1 winners, each will win $50 as Round 1 Milestone Winners. These winners and any member who had a passing submission in round one will be eligible to compete in Round 2 for the additional $1000 in prizes

Round 2

Round 2 will start with the announcement of the Five (5) $50 Round 1 winners and their design review from the Client.
Merchandising: merchandising is any practice which contributes to the sale of products to a retail consumer. At a retail level, merchandising refers to the variety of products available for sale and the display of those products in such a way that it stimulates interest and entices customers to make a purchase. Resources & Requirements IMPORTANT - Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together. - All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance. - Margin beetween sections need to stay consistent. Other iStockPhoto artwork is not allowed. 3) Be sure to keep the watermark intact. If the image is cropped in such a way that the watermark is not visible, please be sure to include the entire image in your source files so we can see that it is a comp image from iStockphoto.com. Submission File All Requested Contest Submission Requirements stated above. Source Files All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file. Final Fixes As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics, images (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

How To Submit

  • New to Studio? ‌Learn how to compete here
  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
