Challenge Summary

The DARPA CS-STEM project goal is to develop an internet platform for education in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), and especially focused on Computer Science (CS) education. That CS-STEM portal will be like a new entire TC website and will be dedicated to middle and high school students in USA (ages of 13 to 18) which will feature contests, activities, prizes and web-based entertainment shows designed to get students engaged and allow them to learn a lot of interesting topics in a user-friendly environment, which at the same time is productive and professional.

For this contest, we need a banner design that will appear to a user after they login on CS-STEM portal.

Primary Goal & Design Considerations
For this contest, you will designing a banner that will be shown to a user after they login on CS-STEM portal, that is if they have been marked as a "Naming Contest" winner in the database.

Requirements

The goal of this contest is to design the banner that will be used on the four themes of NoNameSite.com. You need to design ONE banner only that will fit on the four provided themes in short it should be theme-neutral, and with the features outlined below.

1) The banner should be easy to notice, it should be placed above the fold (below the header or something similar). It should be designed to appear on every page.

2) Initially when user logs in, it will show the banner as an overlay (something similar to modal windows) that has button to close the overlay. When the overlay has been cleared, the banner should remain visible. You should design/show these two states.

3) The banner will have two parts.
The first part will work as an announcement, it should be something catchy or it should have something to look like a medal that a user will easily noticed that (s)he is a winner. The first part should have this text:
"Congratulations!  Your Naming Contest submission was selected as a Semi-finalist!"

The second part will be a set of instructions on how to get contacted; it should have a NORMAL text and it should be underneath the first part, the second part should have this text:
"Please contact us via telephone or email to complete your submission.  We cannot contact you.  You can reach us at 866-123-1234 or by emailing jford@topcoder.com"

4) The banner can use an artwork from the attached files (posters and badge) OR something entirely NEW.

5) The height of the banner should not exceed 144px, and the width will be up to you.

The banner must be theme-neutral and must be shown in two states (with overlay and without overlay)
