Challenge Summary
Welcome to the Hestia "UX Tools Design" Graphic and Icon Contest. The goal of this contest is to design and create the initial UX tools that the Hestia UX team can use for their project planning and documents.
Contest Details Hestia is always looking to give their customers a better user experience by updating and enhancing the user experience (UX) of their existing websites and web applications. The Ferguson UX team is now looking to create a set of reusable tools and templates that they can use when planning out their projects. These types of UX tools could be used for quickly planning how a user would click through a website or to quickly illustrate the strategy and goals of a project. For this contest we would like you to focus on creating the "Product Vision" template and the "User Flow" diagram pieces. UX Design Specification Title Page We need an opening "Ferguson UX Team" page for Word documents. Product Vision This diagram (see attachments) would be a one page quick look of what a project is about. We need a simple, clean and reusable design for this. This will need to be sized to work within Word. For your submission please create > "Main Flow: Credit Card Purchase". User Flow Diagrams This should be a series of vector graphics and icons that can be reused and repositioned. The icons should be saved as "png" format to be used within in Visio. The other graphics can be created in Illustrator for now. We need you to create/duplicate 1 of the provided flow diagrams with your new design elements. UX Icons We need icons that represent these ideas and work together as a set. Icons minimum size : 512 x 512 px Icons: - Customer - Customers - Associate - Email (sent) - Email (open) - Review - Order (draft) - Order - Product or Products - Package - Thank you - Credit cards - Cart full - Cart empty - Cycle - Confirmation - Send/Submit You will need multiple tools to complete these items. (Illustrator and Photoshop) remember these will be "reusable" templates so plan and document accordingly. Target User - Hestia UX Design Team Judging Criteria - How well you design the required items - How well you capture and organize the UX templates Submission & Source Files Preview Image Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it. Submission File All Requested Contest Submission Requirements stated above. Source Files All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file. Final Fixes As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics, images (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.
