Contest Details Hestia is always looking to give their customers a better user experience by providing new and up-to-date features in their B2B Web Application. Over the last few months the Studio Community has helped design the different Merchandising areas of the Hestia B2B application. We would now like you focus on the "Recently Viewed Items" area of the B2B application. For this contest we would like you to research (look at other online stores and see how they handle "Recently Viewed Items") and provide a new design solution for the Hestia "Recently Viewed Items" area. Merchandising: merchandising is any practice which contributes to the sale of products to a retail consumer. At a retail level, merchandising refers to the variety of products available for sale and the display of those products in such a way that it stimulates interest and entices customers to make a purchase. Recently Viewed Items: This feature dynamically keeps track of all the items your visitors have looked at and displays the last XX items viewed in a section on your page labeled "Recently Viewed Items". Submission Requirements: We encourage you to break out of the usual layout conventions, experiment with some new approaches. Show us your solution for "Recently Viewed Items" Some design ideas: - We currently like how HSN.com handles recently viewed items - the area is attached to the bottom of the browser window. - Use product images from (ferguson.com) - Design how "Recently Viewed items" should look and work - User should be able to delete items. - Design how "Recently Viewed Items" should look when total items exceed the area width. - Design "Recently Viewed Items" in open state. - Design "Recently Viewed Items" in close state. - Keep things consistent. This means all graphics styles should work together. - Any other ideas/solutions? Please use Homepage.psd as base of your submission. Target User - Potential Customers - Current Customers Judging Criteria - How well you create the new "Recently Viewed Items" graphics and keep things consistent with the current site design. - Cleanliness of your graphics and design - User Experience Submission & Source Files Preview Image Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it. Submission File All Requested Contest Submission Requirements stated above. Source Files All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Photoshop or Illustrator and saved as layered files. Final Fixes As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.
