Welcome to the Hestia B2B iPhone Application Storyboard Contest. This contest will focus on designing and adapting existing Hestia B2B Application features into a simple easy-to-use iPhone application. The Hestia B2B features we would designed first as an iPhone application is the Hestia "Product Search" and "Locations Directory". We want to provide Hestia customers with the ability to quickly search for products, check their availability and see where they can be purchased.

Contest Details Hestia has completed the redesign of their B2B application. The overall look and feel is complete and now they are focusing on additional features and applications. This contest will focus on designing a new iPhone application that incorporates existing Hestia B2B features and services so Hestia customers can continue using Hestia B2B through their iPhone. This is the beginnings of this project and great care should be taken in keeping things simple, clean and following Apple's iPhone guidelines. This contest is not to redesign the Hestia B2B website but to apply the Hestia B2B look and feel (branding) and extend the Hestia B2B services via the iPhone. Design Requirements IMPORTANT - Keep things consistent. This means all graphics styles should work together. - Please reference the provided prototype, GUI PSD Kit and Hestia Style Guide to help make all the UI Elements consistent. - Your submission design should mimic and look like an extension of the Hestia B2B Application branding. - Make your design simple and clean - Check your spelling before submitting - You can grab product images from this site for usage in your design ( Product Image Link (ONLY PRODUCT IMAGES!) iPhone Application Features NOTE: This is the start of this project - we are trying to keep things simple to get the initial application started - we are open to additional features and thoughts from you - help us make this a cool professional tool! - Most important feature - Product Search! It is not required to use it, but you might find it helpful. Note: This was designed as a web application - this new contest is to be designed as an actual iPhone application. Application Details - This application will be built as a true iPhone Application - Please research the Apple iPhone App guidelines for size and best user interface practices. Target User - Current Customer - Associates Judging Criteria - Cleanliness of your graphics and design - User Experience as an iPhone application - Cohesive brand implementation Submission & Source Files Preview Image Please create your preview image as one (1) 800x800 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it. You are free to resize or crop your submission to fit this size, but do not add any filters or elements for dramatic effect, such as drop shadows or reflections. Submission File All Requested Contest Submission Requirements stated above. IMPORTANT - If you are submitting "small updates or changes" with multiple submissions please include in your notes file what is different or changed - this can be confusing to the client sometimes when they can't tell what is different. Source Files All original source files of the submitted design. Final Fixes As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
