Contest Details Hestia is always looking to give their customers a better user experience by updating and enhancing the user experience (UX) of their existing websites and web applications. The Ferguson UX team would now like to convert their "eSolutions" site into a portal that allows them to communicate/track their projects with the TopCoder community but to also manage and track their projects within their company. This new "Ferguson UX Design" portal will have features for showing New Concepts, Active Projects and password protected features like Project Management tools. For this contest we would like you update the winning design from the first contest (1-UX-Portal) and make any additional required updates listed below. FYI: Your storyboard will be converted to a WordPress Theme. Keep this in mind when updating the files/design. Contest Deliverables - You will use the the first place submission as your base design source (1-UX-Portal.zip) - You will need to reference the second place submission for some design items (2-Alt-UX-Portal.zip) Consistent Design Items - All colors, buttons and graphic items should be consistent with "1-UX-Portal" - Navigation from "1-UX-Portal" is correct except change "Project Management Dashboard" to "Project Management" - Use the logo at all times from "1-UX-Portal" Pages Home Page - Base PSD = 01_UX_home.psd - Completely change the grid and layout design to what is used in "01_Alt_Homepage1.psd" and put it into the look and feel of "1-UX-Portal" (we want the page layout of "01_Alt_Homepage1.psd" but in the graphic design of "1-UX-Portal" - Do not use the Search box from 01_Alt_Homepage1.psd since its already in the header/navigation - Make sure to convert/update any design items to look like "1-UX-Portal" - Make design decisions to get this page to look correct with the updated grid. Concept List - Base PSD = 02_UX_concepts.psd (its a layer in this file) - Update the status bar to have additional colors for concept/design/development - Change "Ferguson Online | 7 Concepts" to "Project Concepts" - Show each project having different amounts of text (need to know how to handle this in the Theme contest) - Each area will be a fixed size. Concept Detail - Base PSD = 02_UX_concepts.psd - Update the status bar to have additional colors for concept/design/development - Change "Contact" (bottom right corner" to "Project Contacts" - Remove "Contest" - Make the Concept Overview area more realistic with some bulleted items (things to consider in the Theme contest) - Remove the "Rate this Concept" - Remove Concept Discussions - Change "Additional Links" to "Links" - Remove "New Link" - Business Goals - also include how bulleted items might look in this list (and make it longer) Approved Projects (List) - Base PSD = 03_UX_approved.psd - We need you to completely change this page to look like the layout in "04_Alt_Approved_projects.psd" - We like how "04_Alt_Approved_projects.psd" has listed the Approved projects and its more of a reference list - Create an "export to excel" button - this would export this list to an excel file. - Color code the Status Column with the status from the other pages. - Change "Project" to "Preview" - Change "Number" to "Project" - Change "Started On" to "Started" - Add a "Delivered" column - Change "Handled By" to "Contact" UX Tools - Base PSD = 04_UX_tools.psd - We need you to completely change this page to look like the layout in "05_Alt_UXtool.psd" - Change "Ferguson User Experience Design UX Tools" to "Ferguson User Experience Design Tools" - The copy at the top below "Ferguson User Experience Design Tools" would be 1 line of text. - Update the icons - give us some additional solutions - Change "Our Customers" to "Customer Persona's" - Change "Downloadables" to "Downloads" - Remove the "Links" section Contact - Base PSD = 05_UX_contact.psd - Remove the multi-colored text - just keep it one color - Add a spot for a team photo/or location photo Additional Page = Search Results - What does the Search Results page look like?
