Challenge Summary

The 2011 TopCoder Open onsite finals at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, Floriday, USA are almost upon us. We're looking to the TopCoder and Studio community to come up with a cool idea for the TCO11 onsite finals that can benefit online and onsite spectators and/or the finalsits. The top (2) two idea winners will get a trip to the TCO11 to run their idea onsite.

Round 1

At the end of Round 1, TopCoder will choose five (5) Round 1 Milestone Winners, each will win $25 and a Review. These winners and any member who had a passing submission in Round 1 will be eligible to compete in Round 2 for the additional prizes and the trip to the TCO11!

Round 2

TopCoder will announce their five (5) $25 Round 1 winners and post their Reviews in the Contest Forum. TopCoder will also post any additional Contest Updates or Requirements at this time.

Please read the contest specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this contest. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

Contest Goal

The purpose of this contest is to think up an idea for onsite and online spectators of the TCO and/or finalists. We're looking something new and innovative to introduce to the event. In the past we've had webcasts, bloggers, video contests, and photo slide shows. This year we want you to come up with something cool and then implement it at the TCO11 for us!

Your idea must be something that can feasibly be done onsite at the TCO11 - you will have a budget of $100 to run your idea at the TCO11. (Once the winners are chosen, you will work with TopCoder staff to get any supplies needed.) You must explain in detail what supplies you would need, if any.

Examples of topics of ideas can be as follows (but please be creative you do not have to follow one of these!):
- Social media
- Games/contests
- Florida or beach related

For example, your idea could be using Twitter and tweeting all day, every day at the event letting everyone know the ins and outs of what is going on.

Another example would be setting up a poker tournament for fun for all the spectators and finalists.

(Please note the above examples should not be used as your submission and will not be considered).

Only members who are have not yet won a trip to the TCO11 finals are eligible for this contest!

Target Audience
The target audience will be TopCoder members, spectators, TC staff and clients.

Judging Criteria
You will be judged on your creativity of the idea as well as your capability in implenting it onsite at the event. You must be willing and able to attend and implement your idea.
