Challenge Summary

NoNameSite.com is a new community built by TopCoder for a younger generation of potential programmers.  The target audience for this community are kids ages 13-18.  We'd like to invite some local kids in this target audience from the Florida area around the 2011 TopCoder Open onsite event to attend and take part.

Contest Goal

The goal of this contest is to come up with an idea for an event we can hold at the 2011 TopCoder Open for getting local kids (ages 13-18) to attend and win something.  The overall goal will be to increase the awareness and importance of CS-STEM and our new community NoNameSite.com.

Your idea must be something that can feasibly be done onsite at the TCO11 for this special target audience.

Specifics:

- This idea has to be feasible with only a computer (s) with internet and specifically NoNameSite.com games and in the Competition Arena/Hotel ballroom. BUT it does not have to include a computer.

- This idea must not contain any other items that would have to be built - basically this can be run at no additional cost or work.  We can do basic facility setup and forum work, but your idea should incur no additional costs.

- The idea must be feasible for up to 50 students ages 13-18 with little to no programming experience.

- In the end of this activity, there can be one or more winners.  Please explain how winners would be determined and any score keeping that is needed; while at the same time exactly how we can keep score simply again with no additional items needed or costs.

- Please explain your idea from start to finish using attached template.

Examples:  Feel free to use one of these examples in your idea please!

You can come up with a tournament using a vareity of one or more games on NoNameSite.com.

You can plan an event where TopCoder/Studio members are interacting directly with the target audience.
