Welcome to the CS-STEM iPhone App Storyboard contest. For this contest we want you to create a storyboard that is intended for an iPhone application.

The DARPA CS-STEM project an internet platform for helping middle school and high school students (13-18 year old demographic) develop an interest in the S.T.E.M. fields. The platform features contests, activities, prizes and web-based entertainment shows designed to get students engaged.

Round 1

Primary Goal & Design Considerations
For this contest, your task is to create a version of NoNameSite.com login, registration, and public profile pages for an iPhone application.

You need to design the screens for iPhone Application in both orientations (Portrait and Landscape). You will also need to design each of the required screens in TWO (2) sizes:
- 320 × 480 (iPhone/iPod touch)
- 640 × 960 (iPhone 4 and iPod with Retina display).


You are expected to produce both sizes independently - ie do not just shrink the graphics from the larger size to the smaller size, unless there is NO perceivable loss of image quality.

For this contest, we our looking for Native iOS GUI

Requirements
1) A login screen, this screen should have the following fields and elements
- Handle/Username
- Password
- Login button
- Forgot Password
- Register

2) A public profile screen or screens
- similar to what we already have
- check the wireframe Student-Public_Profile page for the details

3) A registration screen or screens
- this will have the same content the current screen does
- you need to show the following pages Validation Error, Register Successful, Activate Your Account, and Child Assent page.

Judging Criteria
- Use of iOS standard (http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/userexperience/conceptual/mobilehig/UIElementGuidelines/UIElementGuidelines.html)

ow well the graphics translate from the site to the phone - that it's a good representation of the brand.

Preview Image
Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator (or equivalent) and saved as layered PSD/AI files.

How To Submit

  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
