Challenge Overview
In the TopCoder Cockpit application, we are adding the feature called project milestones to the new project dashboard.
Project Milestone is a high level way to manage the project comparing to contest. Now Cockpit does not have a way to manage different stages in a cockpit project, that is, the idea of project milestones. Project milestones inside cockpit project help project managers to better schedule a cockpit project, allow project manager to much more accurately determine whether or not the project on the schedule. Project milestones provide a higher level view of cockpit project than contest so that managers can easily monitor the whole project progress and see the critical paths of the project.
Project Milestone related features will be delivered in two releases. In release 1, project milestone will only be an entry associated with the cockpit project, with a name, description, due date and responsible people. In release 2, contest association and notification email reminder features will be added to project milestone.
