Challenge Overview
We are looking for a solution for key teams within our company to keep critical services working in the event of a major disaster (ranging from major technical infrastructure failures to fires and other local environmental disasters). The Business Continuity Mobility Solution should allow us to manage at least three key functions:
- Incident alert and notification
- Contact information
- Business continuity plans and checklists
- Details
The attached document describes functionality as well as potential details about how the solution might work, but should be treated as general thinking rather than specific limitations on the conceptual solutions that are proposed. The resulting technical solution will eventually need to be usable from a variety of devices - including Smartphones (e.g., Blackberry & iPhone), as well as tablet & notebook PCs. Wireframes are provided for just the iPhone based solution.
