Challenge Summary

Welcome to “Business Continuity Mobility System – iPad Storyboard” contest. This application will be built in three differents platform, Web, iPad, and iPhone. This contest purpose is to provide system looks and feel using iPad devices to managing incidents that impacts the business operations and issuing alert notification to key individuals in the organization.

At the end of this contest, the client is looking clean, simple, light and impressive storyboard iPad design for the application.

1.    All Screen Requirements


Detail Requirements :
1.    Size, You will design iPad storyboard both for horizontal and vertical orientation. All screen must be following iPad standard resolution which is 1024x768 pixel resolution at 132 pixels per inch (ppi).
2.    Fonts, Fonts are open to the designer, But we encourage you to choose and use iPad usual font. Please be aware of font delivery requirement. All fonts used in the design must be submitted with your files. If you do not have permission to release the fonts, you must provide a text file including the name of the font and a link to where the font can be purchased.
3.    Color, We want to make our application stay consistent for the way they look and feel, because of that, we provides you with our web storyboard screenshot (submission.zip) so you can start use it as your basic color schemes.
4.    Orientation, we need design for both portrait and landscape orientation.

Target Audiences :
Professional employees which are :
1. Business Continuity Mobility System Administration, Consists of the Business Continuity Management department resources that will be responsible for managing user security, BCM system content (plans, checklists), general administration in the system and will also be able to create and manage incidents.
2. Incident Situation Manager (ISM), Selected individuals for each the incident type who will be accountable for the regular incident management and providing regular progress updates on the incident resolution.
3. Crisis Management Team (CMT), Individuals  representing key departments of the organization who are responsible with situation assessment, defining steps to maintain business continuity and providing incidents updates as required.
4. Emergency Response Group (ERG), Individuals who are responsible for ensuring the required emergency, medical and other support services are called, safety of any on-site individuals and providing incident updates as required.
5. Senior Executive Committee (SEC), Senior management with access to incident status and would available for issue escalation and decision making if required.


Judging criteria :
1. Overall, the client wants to look simple, clean, light, and impressive storyboard.
2. The completeness of your storyboard.
3. The quality of your design as well as following the provided guidelines.
4. How well you follow wireframes layout OR provides new idea about how the screen must looks.

Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPB or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submissions within it.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your storyboard.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
