Challenge Summary

Welcome to “Soteria IT Portal Solution Wireframes” contest. This project purpose is to integrate the different ways of submitting IT related request into MS sharepoint and gives the internal clients a professional intranet website. Originally, various IT related information, policies and applications are done by different ways: e,g,. ordering equipment is via an intranet webpage; helpdesk/IT requests are submitted by telephone call or via Outlook form, etc. It’s hard to manage the information and not easy to use for internal clients. This project is to build up an integrate and more user-friendly internal website in MS sharepoint to handle such kind of requests. To summarize, it needs to handle the following activities :

-    Online shopping
-    Helpdesk and change/service requests (eg.  LAN access request)
-    Our marketing of goods and services provided by IT  

At the end of this contest, the client is looking appropriate system workflow that easy to understand for all users and clean, intuitive wireframes that will become a great input for storyboard design contest.

Requirements :

For this contest, you will creates workflow for centralized Soteria intranet portal. This portal will handle 3 kinds of activities which are :
-    Online shopping
-    Helpdesk and change/service requests (eg.  LAN access request)
-    Our marketing of goods and services provided by IT  

Note : Please remember, this portal will be creates using MS SharePoint, make sure your wireframe layout not breaking MS SharePoint layout or can’t be achieved by MS Sharepoint. You can view an example of SharePoint templating from these links :

Please make sure read the conceptualization documents and questionnaire before creating the wireframes since maybe you will find any enhancements that needs to be added into the wireframes. Please do not hesitate for asking a questions in forums anytime there’s a doubt about the requirements.


Target Audiences :

1.    Internal User, The clients company employees who makes service requests and orders.
2.    Approver (Supervisor), The user approves or disapproves service requests from his/her team members (Internal User). The approver can be IT Solutions Managers assigned to department leaders providing. This user is a single point of contact for users requesting service from IT.
3.    IT Staff User, Staff member that helps employees by resolving service requests.
4.    Administrator, administrator configure the application and publishes survey to get feedback from users.

Judging Criteria
Your submission will be judged using following criteria :
1.    Completeness and accuracy of the wireframe as defined in the conceptualization documents.
2.    How well your wireframes provides a consistent user flow.
3.    How well you implement the required data and giving any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend according SharePoint usage (provides notes for clients).

Wireframes should be built in HTML, Axure (.rp).

How To Submit

  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
