Challenge Summary
Welcome to the Accenture Project Showcase P2. For this task, we ask that you take the existing storyboard screens and edit them and create two new screens, for a total of five (5) storyboards. We will also be running an icon set contest at the same time, for those of you who may be interested in participating.
Round 1
For Round One you are required to submit at least four (4) of the five (5) required screens. Which screens to complete is open to the designer.
Round 2
Round Two will begin with the announcement of the milestone winners and their feedback. For Round Two you are required to submit all five (5) of the required screens.
FULL DESCRIPTION
The basic concept behind the website's function:
A high-level department employee comes to this site to 1) view past applications that we have completed for Accenture departments, 2) to get ideas for mobile applications he/she could have us build for their department and 3) contacts our PM to get started on an application of their own.
The basic concept behind the website's design:
The design should look and feel very open and simple - follow the existing first place winner's design and reuse elements/styles wherever possible. There will be a lot of colorful images (thumbnails and other screenshots of applications), so we need to keep design color use simple and elements well spaced, in order to not overwhelm the viewer. The site will be built in Wordpress.
Your task will be to create a minimum of FIVE (5) storyboard screens - content is detailed below. You are free to include additional screens to demonstrate additional ideas / effects / animations, if you like ;)
ALL SCREENS
- remove "schedule" from main menu
1) HOME SCREEN
- remove the current banner content and replace with the the "this is how we work" photos and text from the current "build an app" screen
- remove the sidebar content and leave this area blank for now
- move the "you have an idea, we build the solution" section at the bottom up above "latest applications" and move the "go to build an app" button to the right (like "go to project page" buttons"
- in the "latest applications" section, use the "ipad/iphone" icons from second place somewhere for each application (one per application, show examples of : just tablet, just phone and both). Change "ipad / iphone" to "tablet / phone"
2) PROJECTS SCREEN
- remove breadcrumbs
- use the "tablet/phone" icons from second place somewhere for each application (see notes above)
- remove the client testimonials - replace with icon placeholders for "features" that each app consists of. up to 12 icons per application (show examples of some with less)
3) NEW SCREEN - SINGLE PROJECT
- breadcrumb navigation is "projects > forum ipsum project"
- banner should contain a jquery/slider-type gallery with placeholders for screenshots of the application and application title text (use Lorem Ipsum Project)
- main content > section title "project overview" and accompanying 2 paragraphs of lorem ipsum
- main content > section title "features" with 12 icon placeholders for features and accompanying feature title and lore ipsum descriptive text placeholder
- sidebar content > "Project Summary" and icon for "tablet / phone", with a number of related facts (examples: "app type: event / conference", "project length: 17 weeks", "release date: November 3rd, 2011", etc")
- sidebar content > button for "Build an app like this"
4) BUILD AN APP SCREEN
- remove top section (that were moved to home page) and move "development process" to the top area
- above the "Sys cent mis Taktood?" content, add a "features" section with 12 icon placeholders for features and accompanying feature title and lore ipsum descriptive text placeholder (maybe something similar to the features section in the "03-project-sub.png" screen?)
- under the "Sys cent mis Taktood?" content, put a button for "Build My App Schedule"
5) NEW SCREEN - SCHEDULE
- breadcrumb navigation is "build an app > schedule"
- banner section similar to "03-project-sub.png" but not so large (more smiler to the height of the banner section on the home page)
--- the ipad/iphone images are fine (though size needs to be reduced)
--- change title text to "When do I get my app?" with subtext placeholder
--- change check points to step numbers (1-4 etc) and make the steps : "Choose my process", "select my features", "view my schedule", "submit my project proposal"
- toggle / buttons / tabs - something to indicate the the user is choosing to "skin existing app" OR "new app from scratch"
- main content area is a form (dependent on toggle / choice above) - for this screen assume user has selected "skin existing app"
---- first section is "select app type" with 3 existing apps to choose from - use images / text and "tablet/phone" icons - user selects one and the featured below would change to those available within that particular app
----- second section is "Select from available features" - show 12 feature icons and accompanying titles / text. it should be clear that they are to click on the ones they want (show some clicked on and some not selected)
----- "next" button
