Challenge Summary

Humana and TopCoder have teamed to create a new brand image, HTC. We recently completed design of our new logo, and now we need site that will showcase the brand

At the end of this contest, the Client is looking to have a clean, professional, and visually appealing design that will be great input into a UI WordPress Theme build contest.

Primary Goal & Design Considerations

For this contest, you will design the storyboard of a showcase site that will present projects to the upper-management. Use this site (http://community.topcoder.com/morpheus-showcase/) for the general layout and features reference. Use your TopCoder credentials to login.

 

Requirements
1) Overall Pages
- all pages must include the date, current logged in user, a search box
- use the provided HTC logo for the header
- add TC logo on the footer

2) Home Page
- main image is a banner or can be a rotating image banner/carousel
- Featured Project - this is the main section of the page that displays marked projects
- Status/Legends of the projects are: Stalled, Game Plan, Concept, and Greenlight
- need to show tooltips when mouse hover on these project status
- Sidebar includes sections for Contest Feeds, Forum Feeds, and Top Priority projects

3) In Progress
- this page will list the projects that are marked as ongoing with their images and ratings
- the ratings are: Customer Impact, Business Need, Business Challenge, Technical Difficulty, and Risk Level
- show also the display and sorting options
- must incorporate the project status as mentioned in item #2

4) Completed Project Page
- this page will list all the projects that are marked as completed
- same spec mentioned in item #3

5) All Projects
- this page will list all the projects including featured projects, in-progress, and completed
- same spec mentioned in item #3

6) Project Details
- this displays all the detailed information of a project
- this page also includes: Project Status legend, Image Carousel, Ratings, Supporting Documents, and Links

7) Search Result
- this page shows how properly the search results presented

Branding Guidelines

Designs should be Professional and Visually Appealing.
Colors are:

- Pantone 131 - yellow/gold

- Pantone 370 - Green

- Humana Directors and Managers

 

Judging Criteria

- Selection will be made by the PM that is best presents or showcase the HTC ideas as well as its visual appeal.

 

Submission & Source Files

Preview Image

Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

 

Submission File

All Requested Contest Requirements stated above. Submission source file should be saved by their groupings stated by the number in the Requirements section mentioned above.

 

Source Files

All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or equivalent, and saved as layered PSD format.

 

Final Fixes

As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics, images (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
