From here our client user should be able to access the information they are searching for OR the application they need to use to do business with our clients. It should cater to both newly established employers who are dealing with us the first time AND be user friendly to the employers who have dealt with us for many years and are looking for very specific services. It should service both large and small employers who have different needs.

Round 2

Requirements :

The "Employers and Small Business Center" is the main landing page for all employers that do business with us. From here they should be able to access the information they are searching for OR the application they need to use to do business with us. It should cater to both newly established employers who are dealing with us the first time AND be user friendly to the employers who have dealt with us for many years and are looking for very specific services. It should service both large and small employers who have different needs.

For this contest, you will re-design the landing page for Employer and Small Business Centre application. The "Employers and Small Business Center" is a landing page off of the WorkSafeBC homepage that helps direct user traffic to various Employer resources such as applications inside the Employers Portal. Here is the "Employers and Small Business Center" link:

http://www.worksafebc.com/employers_and_small_business/default.asp

Our goal is to make all our self service applications easy to get to and easy to use. Currently the top banner and left side navigation is uniform across the entire WorkSafeBC.com website and therefore under the control of our Corporate Communications department and not IT. However, we would like to have you design a landing page that can replace the "Employers and Small Business Center" that better serves our users.
The idea is to make all areas of the website much more user friendly and less text heavy. If you look at both :

http://www.worksafebc.com/ AND
http://www.worksafebc.com/employers_and_small_business/default.asp AND
http://www.worksafebc.com/workers/default.asp ,

They all have one thing in common -- that is a lot of text links. We need to streamline the process in which users get to the applications or information that they are looking for.

Please remember, do not eliminate content from the previous landing page, you’re free to creates how should the landing page layout looks like, You can use placeholder images, or anything else to replace text links, but we need all items from existing websites to appear on your submission.
