Welcome BACK to the Hestia B2B New Merchandising Homepage (The Sequel). The goal of this contest is update and enhance the provided winning designs from the first contest. We also have navigation and UX enhancements we would like your help in designing.
NOTE: What is different with this new Homepage is its "outside the user login" so it will feature Hestia catalog products before a user needs to sign-in. This page would work like normal "ecommerce websites" where you can search and add items to your cart before signing in.

Hestia is always looking to give their customers a better user experience by providing new and up-to-date features in their B2B Web Application. For this contest we would like you to UPDATE the NEW Look & Feel of the Hestia B2B Merchandising Home (otherwise known as the main homepage). Please read the details/changes/fixes under Design Requirements below. You should always refer to the GUI Kit (Click this to download) so your design stays consistent with the existing Hestia B2B Design Theme.
Design Requirements
Reference the two provide source files - "01-Homepage.psd" and "02-Homepage.psd"
We need you to merge/update the items listed below and create a NEW homepage
- Start with 01-Homepage.psd
- Merge the slideshow area/icons from 02-Homepage.psd into 01-Homepage.psd
- Start a Quick Order should only be 3 line items
- Merge the "Better Business Solution box" from 02-Homepage.psd into 01-Homepage.psd
- Replace the Footer on 01-Homepage.psd with the footer from 02-Homepage.psd
- KEEP the Location Finder, Grade Us, Live Chat area from 01-Homepage.psd and graphically update/include it in your design
Note 1:
- Keep your design within the page "grid" so the navigation and product category grid (the large categories in the middle of the page) align properly
- Left Column: Update the Speciality Catalogs to not have the gradient background - they could have a solid color? The icons could be solid white/more iconic. Note the reference here: Link (how they handle holiday - except we still want icons)
Navigation/Header Updates:
This is the area we are looking for your new UX enhancments and new designs

- We would like to be able to set our Branch location. Initially with a Modal window alert and also have it show up in the header.
- In the header we need a "Welcome Guest to Hestia" text.
- Sign In/Register (make this more visible - icons?)
- Move the left column products upward into the search bar/header area so the search bar isn't so long
- How should the cart look/work on this page? (We might only need it in the header - if so does Quick Order move up?)
Main Navigation items
- We want the navigation items to open into a graphic flyout like the example site. Note the use of images and icons.
My Account
- View: Not logged in > the viewer sees information about registering/sign-in for "My Account" features.
Business Tools
- View: Not logged in > the viewer sees information about registering/sign-in for "Business Tools" features.
Customer Care
- View: User sees links and graphic icons/images about customer care
Find a Location
- View: User sees inputs (google map?) and search for new locations.

Note 2:
- Stock art is allowed in this contest - you can also pull Hestia Catalog images from this site or this site.
- We are looking for 1 page + Modal - focus on making this one page look great to a consumer/customer.
- Remember the user has NOT logged in yet - but they should have access to a login or register

- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance.

Source Files
