Challenge Summary

Welcome - This contest is for another Accenture iPad application (later we will do an iphone version ;) and will be used by high level executives who are members of this Accenture group. Increasingly complex and (highly) personalized features will be added to this application over the next year. The winning storyboards for this contest will help us in creating the first / base release version.

Round 1

For Round 1 you will be required to submit your designs for all six (6) screens, in horizontal orientation only.

Round 2

Round 2 will begin with the announcement of milestones winners and feedback. For Round 2 you will be required to submit your designs for all six (6) screens, in both horizontal and vertical orientations - for a total of 12 screens.

For this contest your task is to create six (6) iPad storyboard design concepts in two (2) orientations, for a total of twelve (12) screens. You should use the provided PSD template for your horizontal screens and then create a comprabale PSD template for your vertical screens.

IMPORTANT: You are required to create each section in it's own PSD file. There are four (4) sections in included in this contest: dashboard, calendar, connections, and profile. This means your source file will contain a total of eight (8) source files (4 in horizontal orientation and 4 in vertical orientation).

TASK DETAILS

1) DASHBOARD (change existing design)
Two of the sections will be "Coming Soon" - My Wall and My Groups. Please make it clear that these are not currently clickable (grayed out or white overlay or some other indication) and also include a "coming soon" message to them somewhere.

2) DASHBOARD > MENU (new dashboard screen)
When the "menu" button is touched (upper right corner) a menu will slide out to cover about half of the current screen and a white "shade" will cover what remains of the dashboard screen (like a modal shade). This screen should show this state (menu "open"). The background for the menu slider should be pool blue (same as current nav + logo area) or light background (white or light gray). We have provided a screenshot from the Berlin version of this app to show you an existing slider menu - your menu does not need to be exactly the same, it is just an example.
The content for the menu is:
A)  search box (no need for a submit button - just a text input with the text "search" in it)
B) alert bar links (see example menu image - there they are just bar links to certain items, for this app they will be shown when there is an alert item - for example: you have 6 new messages, 1 new invitation to connect, 3 new comments, etc)
alert bar items should be:
--- admin alert (indicate 1 new)
--- messages (indicate 6 new messages)
--- connections (indicate 1 new invitation)
--- discussions (indicate 3 new posts)
C) a mini-version of the nine (9) menu boxes from the dashboard, with the following titles:
--- dashboard
--- members
--- groups
--- discussions
--- research
--- insights
--- voice
--- events
--- cio info
D) chat icon / show 28 available / online
E) refresh icon

3) MY CALENDAR, view A
We would like to see a calendar here that takes up space for six (6) of the nine (9) boxes in the grid. The calendar space should contain the following:
- title (my calendar)
- current month title and nav element to switch between months / and years
- filter for switching views (show "View All Events" as the current / default option)
- events indicated on the calendar (show 6 events in the current month) - these should be obviously clickable / links (will launch popups)

In the remaining 3 boxes, we would like to see the following content (not necessarily in this order - up to you)
- box #1  show a strip of red across the bottom (like "my wall" dashboard box) with the title "Switch to List View" and in the remaining area show a stock photo that is related to the element (should work with photo on dashboard screen)
- box #2 show a strip of blue across the bottom (like dashboard boxes) with the title "Featured Event" and in the remaining area show a clickable event title (use "Global CIO Forum 2013" (clickable), date and location (use "December 09, 2013" and "Prague"), some forum ipsum subtitle / desc text and a link to view more.
- box #3 should have a red strip instead of blue and the strip text should read "Give Feedback". remaining area should contain title text,  "We are working to create an editable / personalized version of your calendar." then a couple sentences of lore ipsum

4) MY CALENDAR, view b
This would be similar in concept but now the calendar is in list view (options:  filter results by group, event titles as links) but now instead of the event title link, we would also see the date / location and some lore ipsum desc text and there would be a "details" button.
In this view, the first box is now "Calendar View" and the photo is the same one used for "my calendar" on the dashboard. The other two boxes are the same.

5) MY CONNECTIONS, view a
This should be a concept like Facebook/linkedIN, where you have:
- the ability to view existing connections
- the ability to add new connections (request to connect with someone)
- the ability to receive requests to connect from the remembers
For this screen, show that the user has 18 existing connections, 3 requests to connect with other members (waiting for response) and has 1 pending request (user has sent a request and the member has not responded yet).
You are free to design this in the way that you think works best, other than these requirements:
- the screen must cover all "ability to .." points listed above
- the screen must maintain the layout concept of 9 blocks (you may use more than one block for an element's space - see calendar for example - but you must maintain the concept of this 9 block layout pattern
- members must be indicated by both name AND profile pic

NOTE: If you want to use popups/modals/etc for additional content for something - for example a popup that shows available members to request to connections to - please show an example screen.

6) MY PROFILE
This should be a profile that the user can edit.  Title is "My Public Profile" and It should include:
- profile pic (+ ability to change photo)
- name / title / company / location / email  (editable text input fields)
- optional / add to profile: the ability to add social networking profile links (linkedIN, Facebook, twitter, website, etc)
- optional / add to profile: bio (grayed out with option to add to profile)
- optional / add to profile: education (grayed out with option to add to profile)
- optional / add to profile: affiliations (grayed out with option to add to profile)
- optional / add to profile: interests (grayed out with option to add to profile)
- my groups (this is not editable - when the user joins a new group it is automatically added. show 2 groups - "Acme CIO Group" and  "Acme Another CIO Group")
- my connections: this is not editable - when the user joins a new group it is automatically added. show the number "18" as a link for popup)

- Show one box that has a red strip with strip text "Account Profile". remaining area should contain title text, "Click to edit your CIO account information. This information is private / not included in your public profile."

- Show one box that has a a red strip instead of blue and the strip text should read "Give Feedback". remaining area should contain title text, "We are working to add highly personalized options for your profile.." then a couple sentences of lore ipsum.

BRANDING / CONSIDERATIONS

This is a high level group and the app is expected to be very simple and usable. This application is:

- white background with bright / strong colors

2) strongly themed
- acceptable colors are: pool blue [00bbee], blood red [992222], brick red [661616], white [ffffff] and shades of gray [nothing darker than 444444]
- links should be white text on red color block or red text on white / light gray backgrounds

3) simple + clean
- large / readable text (use arial only)
- blocky layout (stick to grid)
- considerable use of white space
- no rounded corners or gradients are allowed
