Challenge Summary

Aegle is a fortune 500 company.They are making efforts to add new features/enhancements to MyWork site. On MyWork site, it includes work related content from multiple sources across the enterprise.  This is supposed to be collaborative environment to interact with people across the company (and not tied to a single project/initiative).

Round 1

Round 1 requires submission of screens for Dashboard and Customize Widgets page

Round 2

Round 2 begins with feedback for all and detailed feedback for the milestone winners. For final deadline, all screens and source files required for this contest are due.


Contest Details

This contest is to create the storyboard for the mywork site with the provided wireframe.

Design Requirements

- Group/package your graphics in its own folder layer with appropriate names/titles

- Keep things consistent. This means all graphics styles should work together.

- There are no preferences for color and logo as it is an internal site. Use your best judgements.

- Size: 960px width

- Make your design simple and clean.

- Check your spelling before submitting.

Required Pages

You will be designing the screens for the following pages:

  1. Dashboard page

         1) Different widgets are shown on the dashboard page.  Users can use different widgets and access their independent pages. 

         2) There are several modals - add task modal, and customize followed projects.

     2. Customize Widgets Page

          1) It is a page where users can add/delete widgets, and adjust layout for the dashboard.

          2) On the left panel, there are a list of available widgets, which users can use when designing the dashboard

     3. Calendar Page

         1) it is the independent page for the calendar widget.

         2) it contains three versions: day, week and month

         3) there are also several modals for add/edit/view/delete events modal, add friend's calendar modal.

     4.  Group Page

          1) it is a page where administrator manages groups and its members.

          2) it includes several modals - add/delete member, add/edit/delete group and search member result modals.

     5.  Other considerations.

        In order to give better look and feel, competitors are encouraged to suggest new pages according to existing access application.

Submission & Source Files:

Preview Image
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
All Requested Contest Submission Requirements stated above. Files should be saved as JPG or PNG files in RGB mode at 72dpi.

Source Files
All original source files. Original source files should be saved as layered Photoshop PSD files.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify fonts (sizes or colors) or modify overall storyboard colors.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

Fonts, Stock Photos, and Icons:

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
