Contest Details
Kratos has a new product that is early in the Research Phase where the high level scope and product direction have been defined. The product will be released to internal resources and partners. As it will not be put on the market as a competitive product, it does not need thorough branding research to understand competitor names. We are looking more towards creative thinking to determine name and logo based on what is described below. We would want it to be unique enough that it is not associated with a popular existing tool of some time.

This contest is different then a typical Studio logo contest - we are asking you to think about the brand and provide an expanded set of deliverables.

What it Is:
The tool is a content management system (CMS) to house digital assets for Kratos footwear and apparel products. The Content Management Tool will be a library that will be used throughout the whole company and retail partners for storing and accessing the images of those products. The library of product images will be accessed 2 ways:

1. through other internal systems which will integrate to the library and retrieve images; or
2. through a search interface.

Key Aspects of the Content Management Tool:
• One Stop Shop for Product Imagery
• Very Secure
• Library with strong organization – easy to put images in; easy to find
• Design’s “Treasure Chest”
- Today, Designers put their product images in a location they control (shared drive, personal drive, etc.)
- We want to build trust that if they put an image in this tool that it will be safe both from their ability to get to it, but also from their ability to control when others have access to it.

Deliverables:
The deliverables that we want from this contest for the Content Management Tool are:
- New Name (No Acronyms)
- Logo
- Style/Theme (Brand) – “Story”, Feel, Colors, Fonts, etc.
- Sample PowerPoint Presentation (What would it look like to use the Name, Logo, and Style in the Presentation)
- Sample Email Template (What would it look like to use the Name, Logo, and Style in email)
- These Name, Logo, and Style will be used for communication (PowerPoint Presentation, Email, SharePoint site, Incorporated in the final Product.)

Use the attached template (Kratos-Branding-Template.ai) for your submission (adjust as needed)

User Statements:
To help with the name, we’ve included phrases that our users may say when referring to the Content Management Tool:
- “I am saving my images to ___________________”
- “Style #1234586 is not in ____________________”
- “I found the image in _______________________”
- “Go to _________________ to find the image for your presentation.”

There are approximately 7000 users, so the name has to be EASY to remember.

Sample Names:
The team working on the project for the Content Management Tool, have identified some sample names that are a fit for the tool. These are sample to help guide. Do not feel restricted to this list.
