This contest purpose is to changes the application layout and workflow without changing business logic that is accomplished by the application. We want the application to be more intuitive and much easier for employers to use. At the end of this contest we want to see different ways of organizing content and different ways of collecting information through different designs of forms.

Round 1

1) Initial wireframe of all the features mentioned in the Requirement section
2) Any note for the client about your submission

Round 2

Final Submission
1) Final wireframe submission with all the features mentioned in the Requirement section with client feedback applied
2) Any note for the client about your submission

Primary Goals :

For this contest, we need wireframes that show different ways of organizing content and different ways of collecting information from our current “view claims information” application but still keep the same functionality.

Here are the scenarios that need to appear in the wireframes:
1.    Login/Logout.
2.    Search claim (section 4.1 in EDES Documents)
3.    Claim Details Display (section 4.2 in EDES Documents)
     a.    Summary Tab (4.2.1)
     b.    Status Tab (4.2.2)
     c.    Incident Tab (4.2.3)
     d.    Wage Rate Tab (4.2.4)
     e.    Payment Tab (4.2.5)
     f.    Documents Tab (4.2.6)
     g.    Return to work Tab (4.2.7)
4.    Printer Friendly version

Your task is to re-design this application layout so it can show worker claim information details that related to their employer with more effective and intuitive. We provided you with our EDES documents about the current “View claims information” application that can be found in attachment section. This EDES document contains all information about how the current application was built including layout elements, business logic and information that presented to the user.  Everything in the EDES document has already been implemented; it is only for your reference to understand the current application as you do not have access to the application unless you are a client of WorkSafeBC.

Note : Do not depend on the current screenshot and the current layout arrangement for creating your wireframes. You are required to use your creativity about how this application should show information to the employer.  New functionality is welcome and encouraged if you think it will be useful to the employer.

Important : You are required to create additional documentation about your wireframes to indicate new functionality. You need to listed all the differences between your design and our current application. If we don’t think it is useful, we won’t count it against your submission.  Feel free to take risks.

Target Audience:
Employer of firms that want to check the status of a claim.
Important: Please see the About the Client attachment.

Judging Criteria:
- How well the wireframes define how the user will work within the application.
- Completeness of the wireframes and the specified scenarios.
- Useful, new functionality.
- How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow.
- How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client)
