Challenge Summary

Welcome to “Cessna Flight Test iPad App Storyboard” contest. The goal of this project is to create application for managing squawks/discrepancies/issues found when testing a new airplane prior to its delivery to a customer using iPad device. In this contest we need your help to provides  system look and feel for Cessna Flight test application that will be running in iPad. At the end of this contest, the client is looking clean, simple, impressive and  user-friendly iPad design for in-flight use.

Final Submission
- All design for landscape and portrait as stated in screen requirements with clients feedback applied


The main goal of this contest is to create iPad storyboard for Cessna Flight test application. We already have wireframes for this application.  Here are the screen that need to be creates :
1. Landing page (Main-H and Main-V)
   - Landing page – synchronizing progress bar (simulated by touching “synchronize data” button)
2. Create Squawk (Create_Squawk-H and Create_Squawk-V)
   - File Attachment,  Squawk Type, Severity modal window
3. Squawk Story timeline (Squawk-H and Squawk-V)

Important : You’re gonna need to explore the wireframes to find all layout elements that needs to be created.

Detail Requirements :
1. Size, You will design iPad storyboard both for horizontal and vertical orientation. All screen must be following iPad standard resolution which is 1024x768 pixel resolution at 132 pixels per inch (ppi).
2. Fonts, Fonts are open to the designer, But we encourage you to choose and use large simple fonts or use iPad usual font. Please be aware of font delivery requirement. All fonts used in the design must be submitted with your files. If you do not have permission to release the fonts, you must provide a text file including the name of the font and a link to where the font can be purchased.
3. Color, We want to make our application stay consistent for the way they look and feel.  We’re providing our logo and screenshot about application that we’re working on, you can use it as your references for finding perfect color combination for this application.
4. Orientation, we need design for both portrait and landscape orientation.

Target Audiences :
There will be only one user use this application which is the pilot who perform flight test..

Judging criteria :
1. Overall, the client wants to look simple and user friendly storyboard.
2. The completeness of your storyboard.
3. The quality of your design as well as following the provided guidelines.
4. How well you follow wireframes layout OR provides new idea about how the screen must looks.

Preview Image
Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submissions within it.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your storyboard.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
