Contest Details
Hestia is always looking to give their customers a better user experience by providing new and up-to-date features in their B2B Web Application. We are now focused on bringing shopping for products to users before they actually log into the application. What will they see? How will they interact with the different site features before they actually need to Register or login to purchase products? We have provided a "Registration Flow" document for you to follow and base your storyboard flow on.
You should always refer to the Hestia GUI Kit (Click this to download) so your design follows established Hestia standards and user experience conventions.
Design Requirements
- Download Registration-Flow-v1.pdf to help you create your Registration Flow design.
- Note: To do anything in the current Hestia application you have to log in first. We want to "open" this up to more users and allow them to search for products and then Register or Login (like normal B2C shopping sites)
Registration Flow Scenario/Screens
- Homepage Modal: When the user first arrives present them with a Modal window where they can input their ZIP code or Log into the site. (this is similar to some existing sites)
- Home Page Modal: An additional optional question will ask they user if they want to see the General catalog or a specialized catalog (see Flow document)
- Home Page: After the customer inputs their zip code they will continue to the site and shop for products
- Home Page/Any Page: At any time the user can login or register
- Search & Cart Page: Customer has searched for products and placed items in their cart
- Cart Page: Customer has decided to place an order
- Summary Page: Customer is presented with a Summary page and the option to Register or Login
- Registration Page: Customer enters required information
- Summary Page: Registration is complete
- Thank You Page: Order is completed (We need some Merchandising on the Thank you page)
Alternative Flow Pages
- If the user doesn't input their ZIP/Login - they won't be able to see pricing or availability on Search results or the Product Details screen. At any time they can enter their ZIP to see pricing and availability on the Search Results Page or the Product Details Page.
- What happens if the user declines registration
IMPORTANT
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together.
- Number your pages! We want to be able to understand what the user is seeing and clicking on!
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance.
