Welcome to "Bells – Admin Database Consolidation Application wireframesBells - Admin Database Consolidation Application wireframes" contest. Bells is looking to consolidate few small existing Oracle database schemas into one database schema and create UI admin for the new database. This contest purpose is to create workflow for Admin application to manage entries of all database that already normalized into one single database schema. At the end of this contest, our client expecting simple and user friendly scenario/workflow for Admin application to manage the database.

Currently Bell’s have few small databases been use for their iOS and external web application. These databases were created individually by different people for different purposes which makes hard to manage each of them. They want to turned these database into one single database schema that is consistent patterned through all the tables but still have the same functionality of the separates one and makes it easier for them to manage it.
There are 5 database schema that they want to convert which are CSF, CSR, IR, PSE and Sales. We already have the new single database schema that covers those database functionality in one consistent pattern, Now we need UI Admin wireframes scenario to simulated how the application can managing the database.
These are scenario that requires to be create in Admin application scenario :
1. Searching functionality
2. Add/Modify/Delete for tables in database schema according to privileges
3. Database data display
4. Databases filter (by DB)
5. Admins can have access to 1 or more schemas
6. Simple electronic approval for specific actions in the databases.
7. Add/Modify/Delete User according to privileges
8. Application should provide the capability to update a test database environment prior to updating the production database environment.
9. Form validation, login/logout and forgot password functionality.
Target Audience :
- Super Admin: Full control of all databases including the ability to add users and promote changes from test db to prod db.
- Admin: Ability to edit specific schemas they have access to edit (set by the super admin).
- Approver: Ability to promote db changes in specific schemas to prod from changes made in test by admins and record admins.
- Record Admin: Created by Admin or Super Admin (Admins can only add users for data they have access to) and has the ability to update only their individual record. For example, an account could be created for a sales representative so he can update his own contact information. There will be some columns that will be view only to a record admin that are only editable by an admin.
Important : You’re gonna need to create scenario for each user. We are very open to creative ideas and suggestions in how to properly implement this application. Feel free to be creative in this contest.
Judging Criteria:
- How well the wireframes define how the user will work within the application.
- Completeness of the wireframes and the specified scenarios.
- How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow.
- How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client)
