Challenge Summary

Welcome to Mobile Development Survey T-shirt Contest
TopCoder and Accenture together will hold a survey about mobile development. This survey shall ask software developers about mobile development, primarily their exeperience, interests and what they look forward to. The results of this survey will be used in an iOS, Android and Windows Mobile application as “research” (pie/bar graphs) at the Mobile World Conference event. The first 2000 people to complete the survey will receive a t-shirt for free.

At the end of this contest the client need a t-shirt design which will be used as part of a giveaway for participating in this survey about mobile development.

Primary goal:
The goal of this contest is to design a t-shirt which will be used as part of a giveaway for participating in a survey about mobile development.
The theme to be shown here on the t-shirt is Combine the TopCoder Community with Mobile Development.

The graphics required as part of this challenge must embody the essence and goals of this survey (as previously stated above within the contest summary and primary goals sections)

For this contest, you will be designing the front part of the t-shirt only.
There is also a banner related to this, please stay with this look and feel, but REMEMBER feel free to add any graphics you create yourself in your design to create a great t-shirt design. We attached the banner to the contest or you can see the banner on this page : www.topcoder.com/tc

Requirement:
- Content:
Your design must contain:
1. Tagline: "Combine the TopCoder Community with Mobile Development". 
2. Your design graphic for the t-shirt. Remember, Please stay with the look and feel of the banner.

- Color:
The T-shirt color is open, it's up to you. But please remember the TopCoder and Accenture logos will be put on the sleeves of the t-shirt, so please think about this when chose the color for your t-shirt design.
The graphic color need to be designed  on the front of the t-shirt is open. Please use any color you think best as long they still follow the look and feel of the banner.

- Logo:
We'll put the TC and Accenture logo on the sleeves, so you are focus on designing the front design part of the t-shirt.

- Feel free to add new graphics you create yourself to support your t-shirt design. Bring us your creativity when creating the design for this.

- Please note that we need something really awesome and eye-catching!

Judging Criteria:
Your submission will be judged on the following:

Creativity -The t-shirt should be visually exciting and engaging
Execution -The quality of the graphics as well as following the provided guidelines
Requirements: Does your design meet the requirements as stated within the challenge?
Quality: Does your banner look fresh, professional, and clean?

Submission & Source Files 
Preview Image:

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place your submissions within it. You are free to resize or crop your submission to fit this size, but do not add any filters or elements for dramatic effect, such as drop shadows or reflections.

Submission File:
All requested Contest Deliverables in JPG or PNG file format in RGB color mode at 72dpi.

Source Files:
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape and saved as layered AI or EPS files.

Final Fixes:
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify content, size, and/or colors.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

SUBMISSION FORMAT:

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

Fonts, Stock Photos, and Icons:

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.

Screening:

All submissions are screened for eligibility before the challenge holder picks winners. Don't let your hard work go to waste. Learn more about how to  pass screening.
